At the feast of welcoming Lacham as a wife, a fierce red repelling ritual was performed at Ganden Khangsar. There, empowerments, subsequent permissions, and ablutions were bestowed upon the mistress, mother, and son. At Tsetang, the Loktri's teachings were given to Tusé Tulku. New Treasures were bestowed upon Chöje Drolmawa and Nyêdowapa, among others. Empowerments and transmissions of Loktri, Kigung Marpo, and Sangnying were granted. Again, for the well-being of the upper and lower, a hundred peaceful fire offerings were performed, and the preliminary homa ritual for the fierce red practice was conducted, alleviating the intangible heat, and the essence of the earth was restored in a beneficial manner. Precious gifts such as the statue of Pömpö Tertön were bestowed. Starting from the tenth day of the sixth month, blessings, practical instructions, teachings, and transmissions of Naropa's Khechari were bestowed upon Zhalu Khenchen Rinchen Sonam Chokdrup. He listened to the subsequent permissions of Namjom, Mêtsêk, Özer Chenma, and Namse. Afterwards, empowerments and transmissions of the Ratna Gurdrag and the four-faced Treasure Guardian were granted. At the feet of Gyalchok Dampa, together with Zhalu Khenchen, he listened to the empowerments and transmissions of Yuthok Nyingthig, the wheel of Jikje, and the transmissions of some Dharma sections of Yogini. Dharma connections of new treasures were bestowed upon some lamas, such as the reincarnation of Rigzin Tobden Wangpo. To many monks of the upper monastery, extensive, intermediate empowerments of Ratna Gurdrag according to their individual wishes, as well as transmissions of activity rituals, secret practices, etc., the transmission of Gyachen, the empowerment and transmission of Red Spear Namse, the deity guidance and transmission of Jampal Dzogchen, and many empowerments such as the reversal, sharp inner cutting were bestowed. From Rigzin Könchok Lhundrup, he listened to the transmission of Loktri and some Dharma sections of Trochu. He also accompanied the upper and lower to Yachen Chapchuk at Lupu Lingka as an attendant. Then, at Tsetang, from Setön Tukchok Öbar, he listened to the three empowerments—extensive, intermediate, and concise—of the activity ritual Treasure Heart practice, Iron Tree Mother, and Free Precious Flame. Starting from the seventh day of the eighth Hor month, many Nyingma lamas and the upper monastery gathered at the feet of Gyalchok Dampa.
