Empowerments and transmissions. He bestowed many profound teachings, including the transmission of the Padling Lama's practice manual. There, when performing the root empowerment of Thuk Thik (Heart Drop), it was during a time of heavy snowfall and extreme cold. However, new sprouts grew from the vase, reaching about two finger-widths above the vase's mouth, which amazed everyone. To his younger brother Gyalsay Rinpoche, about twenty monks from Darling Monastery, monks and students from Yibphu, and many other fortunate individuals, he gave the transference of consciousness (phowa) instruction of the Sun, Moon, and Buddha, causing warmth signs to arise in everyone. Afterward, as an offering to the monastery, he traveled to Samye Monastery with about twenty-five Khenpos and monks, and in Tamdrin Ling (Hayagriva Island), he performed the wrathful Vajrakila with nine-headed Garuda (Krorol Khyungguma), subjugation of enemies (Dragnön), Naga offering (Luchö), and special Torma offerings to the Tenma goddesses. In between, he also gave some Dharma connection to Sonam, the caretaker of Samye Monastery, and to pilgrims. In the Treasury Island (Kördzo Ling), because the red Yaksha Tsitta possessed a person's body, he was invited with welcomes and offerings, and he vowed to diligently fulfill the tasks assigned. He performed prostrations, offerings, and prayers in all the temples. From the tip of the nose of the Hayagriva statue of Arya Palo, a red nectar, the size of a small bean, dripped down, appearing like a red crystal bead, which he kept with him afterward. Later, when he was about to return, an order came from above that a similar ritual should also be performed in Maldro Katsal. Because of heavy snow when passing through Gyama La, the monks' eyes were blinded, so they rested in Trikang (Throne House), and then fully completed all the rituals in Katsal. There, he received the empowerments of the reversion practice and the inner cutting practice from Rigzin Könchok Lhundrup, the Dharma son of Drigung Kyobpa Chökyi Drakpa, and in return, he bestowed the empowerment and transmission of Thuk Thik. One day, when he went for a mountain circumambulation, he was invited to the retreat house of the practice community. It was said that the Lama's arrival was a sign of accomplishment in retreat, and all the retreat monks came out to greet him with jubilation, and he gave a brief Dharma connection on the essence of Guru Yoga and the stages of practice of the Five-fold Mahamudra. Afterward, he went to Lhasa to meet with the superiors, and from Gyalwa Rinpoche, he received the transmission and guidance of the red staff of Shang Trom, as well as the transmissions of the two compositions, Smetsek and the Guru Supplication. In the north, he bestowed some temporary subsequent permissions to the king.

Offerings and acceptances of items such as རྒྱ་སྦུག་ཚགས་སྒ་ were extensively performed. Afterwards, he returned as a Lama and went to Daling. There, he performed a grand Vajra dance ritual for the unveiling of newly made wrathful masks. When Tridpon Ngagchang Chenpo arrived, he also bestowed minor empowerments and transmissions. After that, he stayed in retreat at Zimchung Chimey Bhuk for nearly three months, strictly observing the vows of the retreat. At that time, at dawn on the tenth day of the Black Month (Tibetan calendar), a Dakini of the field protector, wearing a silk lower garment, with many wondrous gestures, personally presented a yellowed white paper with the judgment of Yama written on it. It was heard that during this summer period, it could be applied to the ascertainment of reality itself. But I do not know how it is. Then, again, on the fifth and sixth of August, due to the urging of the treasure-protecting Dakinis, according to the meaning of the judgment letter, taking the steward Tenzin and Trinley Tharphen as attendants, the three, teacher and disciples, dressed in monastic robes and secretly set out at night. That night, they stayed at Jye-dzing gathering. While the gathering people were performing the Torma offering ceremony, they sat at the doorway. Some looked on with curiosity, while others suspected them of being beggars and offered them leftover food. There, they occasionally spoke a few words of Dharma, and some experienced monks asked them where they came from, to which they replied that they were monks from Guru Lhakhang. That night, they stayed in a corner of a monk's room, and a young monk served them well. The next morning, they left early, but because they were walking, they did not leave Lingkha. Afterwards, passing through Jarphu, they arrived at Muchen Lhalatse. There, they performed the subjugation of gods and demons visualization and blew the leg-bone trumpet, and suddenly a great hailstorm fell, but they did not fear or retreat, but with firm courage continued on. The path downwards was steep, and the two attendants had great difficulty keeping up. They arrived at the monastery around dusk and tried to borrow a place to stay from a nun, but she did not allow it, so they stayed in the eastern gatehouse of the Lhakhang, which was where the beggars from Kham stayed. The next morning, two of the Lama's monks went to fetch water and ask for tea, and one of them recognized them and told the people above, and the Lama, with incense and scarves, invited them to the private chamber.
