In Nepal, he built Düdül Zilnön Ling, and in Tobgyal, he built Ganden Rabgye Ling, establishing thirteen new monasteries. Subsequently, he restored old monasteries and built new ones, totaling over thirty, spreading Gelug monasteries from upper Ngari to lower Dartsedo (Kangding). He also fostered the growth of other traditions such as Sakya, ensuring that the land of Tibet was filled with joy and peace, and he maintained a new era of perfect prosperity for a long time. Finally, at the age of sixty-six, in the Year of the Dog, he passed away, merging into the ultimate Dharmadhatu. After that, Desi Sangye Gyatso managed both political and religious affairs, constructing internal and external supports. In the great Shapten Lhakhang (Longevity Temple), the complete remains were placed inside a pure gold stupa, which is the ornament of the world, and he built countless representations of body, speech, and mind. Desi himself also diligently engaged in listening, contemplation, and meditation, possessing immeasurable treatises.

If you establish a residence there, the Buddha's teachings will flourish." He replied, "Then keep it secret for now." Therefore it was called Sangpu. Soon after, the attendant brought the staff he used to that place, and thus the great monastery of the origin of Buddhism called "Sang Neu Le Thok" was established. Initially there were only about five monastic groups, later divided into Upper and Lower
