Sapa said, "By meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom, not even a headache will occur." Having said that, he departed. Thereafter, as he had said, the tumors also disappeared. After eight years, clairvoyance also arose. He explained the eight aspects of Manifest Realization by combining the Summary Sutra and quoting from both the Extensive and Intermediate Sutras. Therefore, the students became known as the Upper Lineage and the Lower Lineage. The Upper Lineage is when Khunzi Yangwenpa Wangchuk Dorje and others were guided when they were ill, which is the first teaching session. He taught the oral instructions on the Four Noble Truths, along with scattered practical methods. The Lower Lineage is the lineage that started from Dro. Because they were not sick, they guided the essential meaning and Manifest Realization by distinguishing between gradual and sudden approaches for individuals. Some explained it through the sequence of the twelve links of dependent origination, which is the oral instruction of the Lower Lineage that revolves around meditation. Among the branch lineages that arose in between are the Grapa, Che, and Jang lineages. Among them, Geshe Grapa received the oral instruction of the Pacifying Tara Nine Cycles, which are the oral instruction of the Tara of Body, the Tara of Speech of the Vehicle, the Tara of Secret Mind, the Tara of Correct View, the Tara of Precious Meditation, the Tara of Bodhisattva Conduct, the Tara of Equality Basis, the Tara of Yoga Path, and the Tara of Accomplishment Result. The Che lineage is when Geshe Chepa of Shangyul and others received the teachings. The Jang lineage is when Jang Kadampa of Chimyul received the oral instruction of the One-Letter Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, which Jang transmitted to Jangchung, then to Chupa and his sons, and then to Rog Sherab Wo. Regarding the scattered lineages, Dro Gon received the Golden Needle of the Praise of the Names, Gu Gon received the Karma Mudra practice, Chu Gon received the Heartfelt Words of Confession, Gompa Margon received the Three Decisive Practices, Gnya Translator received the Solitary Hero of Chakrasamvara, Chemo Pal Dron received the Sixteen Classes of Accomplished Ones' Practice, Gnyal Toding Ngorje Gompa received the Coemergent Union, Chuwar's Elder Yung Drak received the Heart Sutra practice, Ngakshang Sherab Gyaltsen received the Kalachakra practice, Shangpa Udep received the Four-Letter practice, Nyemo's Gyaton Kyitsek received the Hevajra practice, and Zhang Sakchungpa received the Secret Practice of Vajravarahi, Lama De.

The instructions of Chakdor (Vajrapani) for Onkarwa, the ear-whispered transmission of Chakrasamvara for Aben Gung Gyal of Kyishod, and the instructions of Chod for Machig Labdrön were given. These are the intermediate lineages. The later lineage is that Dampa, after doing twelve years of work for the benefit of beings in China, arrived in Dingri (present-day Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet) and guided twenty-four mothers to maturity and liberation. The teachings were bestowed upon Dampa Kundga of Dingri. Kundga was a disciple who was cared for by Dampa for five lifetimes. When Dampa was about to pass away, he said, "Equal to me is only Kundga, flowing downwards is only the river, appearing in the sky is only the sun and moon." His disciple was Patsab Gompa of Pan Yul. He said, "The direct perception of the nature of reality has arisen, and the limits of realization have been cut off." Dampa said, "Very good." There was a roll of paper tied on his head, and Dampa said, "Here is Natsa Sangpo, and there is no Nyang Shepa in Lato." Then he gave it to Patsab. Dampa said, "Open it at the bottom of Namar." Then Dampa went to look, and there appeared: nine questions and answers of the root Dharma class of Zhukpa, three sections of the Dharma meaning Tantra of the trunk of Drungpa, metaphors and divination of the branches of Gyepa, sixteen Dharma classes of Lodap, five Dharma classes of the flowers of Jampa, and three inner, outer, and secret classes of the fruits of Aali Kaali. His disciple was Gyalwa Dené, who completed all the single-transmission teachings. These three are known as the three hidden single-transmission lamas. Gyalwa Dené entrusted the Dharma lineage truthfully to the two brothers of the Rog clan. In the early period of the flourishing of Buddhism, there was a person named Rog Namkhai Yeshe, who had wisdom and ability. All of his descendants were special mantra holders, and the twenty-fourth was Rog Sherab Lama. His son was Tashi Drakpa, and his son was Rog Sherab Wo. After that, it was passed down to Xipo and others in succession. This Dharma cycle has two types: common and uncommon. The common ones include: Sutra and Tantra practice combined, oral transmission and ear transmission combined, stainless subtle wisdom combined, and one hundred thousand explanations combined. The first is: the common Sutra is the Sutra of Playing in the River, the necessary Sutra is the Prajnaparamita, the common Tantra is the Commentary on the Pitaka, and the necessary Tantra is the Great River. The practices include: the great, medium, and small empowerment wheels, and the three great, medium, and small stages of the path. Bestowed teachings.
