Through service, he carried a leper with amputated limbs and preached the Dharma to Bzaijin (honorific). It was difficult to hear at Lading (place name), and he placed both on his back. In addition, by treating the leper Phosphamphabs (person's name) and giving instructions, it was called Leprosy Dharma. Later, after becoming familiar, he said, 'This is not the Dharma preached in the assembly, but secretly guiding those who can accept it.' It is not known who will come and who will not. Because secret guidance is not enough, now it will be preached publicly to everyone.' After saying this, he began to preach publicly. Therefore, this is the extraordinary Mahayana path that no one has ever possessed. There is no Dharma more profound and vast than this. Geshe Chenpo (honorific) found it difficult to explain, so before Sharawa (person's name) thoroughly understood it, he relied on nearly eighty lamas. No matter how much Dharma and instructions he received, in terms of practicing to become a Buddha, he always felt that something was missing, and he kept thinking, 'What is that?' He never reached a thorough understanding. After Sharawa thoroughly understood it, he was convinced that there was nothing better than what he had now. It is said that he felt a sense of satisfaction, no longer desiring to hear more, and no longer needing to focus. He said, 'If this is the case, people will look at me as if I am ordinary, but everything I do will become a cause for enlightenment.' Everything will become meaningful. Because he had always made this the core of his practice, even when he heard worldly sounds at the time of his death, he felt that there was no sound more pleasant than the sound of mind training. He said, 'Please recite the sound of mind training in my ear.' Just like a child understands suffering and accepts the suffering of others, he does not feel frustrated, but rather a joy. He said, 'This time, no desires arose, only the vision of the Pure Land of Bliss.' He wished to concentrate all the suffering of all beings on himself. His younger brother requested him, 'Your body is not very well, please practice.' He simply recited the verses of mind training, and although his body was not well, he did not seem to see any hesitation in him. Therefore, this is the essence of practice. Extraordinary Instructions Geshe (honorific) Chilbu (person's name) also initially arrived at the Lading (place name) of Gyen. This was also where he initially heard it and relied on it for twenty-four years. During this period, he seemed to be completely familiar with these teachings. Initially, he had always made this his practice, so no matter what distractions or other things arose, they would not cause harm. It is said that Chilbu did not even have a temple, he just wanted to fully practice these teachings. It is said that even when reciting the words, thoughts would arise. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later, (the venerable one) gathered the Sangha and preached extensively in the lecture hall and on the Dharma seat, etc. Later, when (the venerable one) was residing in Gyen, Spildu Awo Kar Geshe said: 'Many disciples of the great Geshe (honorific title) have appeared, but they have had short lives. What is the reason for this? In my opinion, there is nothing deeper than the Lamrim (Stages of the Path) combined with tantra and Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom), could it be because these teachings were taught publicly?' The Geshe replied: 'That is true. There is nothing deeper than this, but it should not be taught in public. Because the master (referring to Gyen Ngok Zhonnu Drup) passed away a long time ago, and it was not possible to teach it secretly, it was taught in public, and thus this tradition was formed.' After that, during the time in Spil, one person who pleased the master, and three others who were meticulous, diligent, and intelligent requested the transmission, but even Ston Grawapa Shulma was not given the complete transmission. To them, he also said: 'This is not suitable for a public gathering, because you are all great people. I will not teach anything deeper than this in public, so all of you must strive diligently.' Therefore, all of us should emulate those predecessors, and whatever we do, we should not deviate from the path of the all-knowing (Buddha), and therefore we must obtain this unique instruction and practice the mind-training. So, which Buddha's method of practice is this? When and how was it practiced? This is the method of practice of Shakyamuni Buddha. It is recorded in the 'White Lotus of Compassion Sutra': In the past, countless eons ago, there was an era called 'Great Eon,' in which there was a Chakravartin (Wheel-Turning King) named 'Circle of the Wheel,' who had a Brahmin priest named 'Ocean Dust,' who had a son named 'Ocean Essence,' who, in the presence of the Tathagata (Thus Gone One) Buddha 'Precious Essence,' at the urging of Ocean Dust, the king, a thousand princes, eighty-four thousand kings, eighty brothers of the Buddha Precious Essence, and two million Brahmin disciples all generated Bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment), and they all vowed to generate Bodhicitta in a pure Buddha-field. The other Brahmins all vowed: In the degenerate age of the five defilements, when beings do not regard their father as their father, do not regard their mother as their mother, do not respect Shramanas (ascetics), Brahmins, and elders, to become a Buddha when it is difficult to tame them, and to tame them. Ram Powa said: '(They) acted as if they had been blessed by the Buddha.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
