Furthermore, it is said that sentient beings in the bardo (Tibetan: བར་དོ།, the intermediate state between death and rebirth) are connected to Vajrasana (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན།, Bodh Gaya, the place where Buddha attained enlightenment). All the accomplishments of samsara (cyclic existence) are done by attachment, so it is very important not to be attached in the bardo. Likewise, it is necessary not to be attached at the time of death. It is said that one must train the mind now not to be attached to anything. By training not to be attached in this way, all mantra practitioners (Tibetan: སྔགས་པ་, practitioners of tantra) will attain the state of vidyadhara (Tibetan: རིག་འཛིན་, one who possesses special knowledge and abilities) in the bardo, attain the siddhi (accomplishment) of Mahamudra (Tibetan: ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ།, a high-level tantric practice), and their body will not fall into any of the six realms of samsara, but will appear like a rainbow in their own perception. Therefore, all sentient beings' bodies arise from the root of karma and attachment. Bodhisattvas (Tibetan: བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ།, beings who vow to attain Buddhahood for the sake of all beings) up to the attainment of bhumi (level of realization) take rebirth for the sake of sentient beings, replacing afflictions with compassion and karma with aspiration. Secondly, the signs of accomplishment are: 'Having five great signs of accomplishment.' This means that once such a mind is accomplished, one becomes a great Bodhisattva, and by avoiding minor faults, one becomes a great Vinaya holder (Tibetan: འདུལ་བ་འཛིན་པ་, one who upholds the monastic rules). 1-439 When conflicts arise with others, one becomes a great ascetic (Tibetan: དཀའ་ཐུབ་, one who purifies body and mind through rigorous practice) by enduring like a mountain; observing the virtuous actions of body and speech, one always possesses faith and diligence, becoming a great virtuous practitioner (Tibetan: དགེ་སྦྱོར་བ་, one who engages in virtuous actions); one becomes a great yogi (Tibetan: རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་, practitioner of yoga) because one's mind is accomplished, and one understands the main points of all the teachings of the Buddha and the commentaries. Therefore, good training is needed. Just because it wasn't done yesterday or the day before doesn't mean it can't be done later. The practice of the previous session can help the practice of the next session. Morning practice can help evening practice. One can also achieve something through hearing and remembering, but it won't have much fruit, so one needs to concentrate and accomplish it all at once. Because one must always put on armor for the future, one takes on the sins and sufferings of sentient beings and gives one's own goodness and happiness to others, which is putting on armor. Even so, when harm is caused by humans or non-humans, or when conflicts arise later, one should think of enduring. One should think of not separating from the vows and precepts one has promised. One should think of enduring harsh words, jealousy, slander, etc. By putting on armor in this way, one will be able to overcome any conflicts that arise later. 1-440 Therefore, when something happens that contradicts the Dharma, one should think of how to make it not contradict the Dharma, which is putting on armor. 'Whoever causes harm is connected to happiness. I take refuge in that source of happiness.' 'Whether it is an enemy or a friend, who sees them as a spiritual mentor (Tibetan: དགེ་བཤེས་, духовный наставник) in the face of objects that give rise to afflictions?' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Wherever I am, may I be happy.' And, to those who speak ill, spread rumors, and are jealous, you subdue them with heroic prowess. Also, even if kindness is repaid with harm, repeatedly cultivate great compassion. The noble beings of Jambudvipa (the world), respond to evil with good.' And, 'Whoever speaks ill of me, or others cause me harm, or even spread rumors, may they all be endowed with the fortune of enlightenment.' Like this, train the mind. Some say that if you have this, you can attain Buddhahood even without anything else. It is said that at the time of death, this will become a particularly special Dharma in your continuum. Even if nothing happens, just remembering these words will immediately pacify afflictions. To quickly attain perfect enlightenment, train in the precious Bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment). It is said that these words are also to explain this principle. Thinking, 'I have experienced countless cycles of birth and death, but I have never practiced such a supreme Dharma.' Sharawa (a Kadampa master) said, 'If what I do pleases Dromba (Dromtön Gyalwai Jungné) and the Lama, or is beneficial to people, I will do it; if not, I will not do it.' If you think like this, then you have already abandoned the Dharma. It is said that when conflicts arise, abandoning the Dharma means that you will not receive blessings when practicing the Dharma. Therefore, from now on, until this life, the Bardo (intermediate state), the next life, and until you attain Buddhahood, do not separate from this Dharma even for a moment. Pray to meet a virtuous teacher who teaches this Dharma. The third is the witness of the arising of realization: 'Grasp the main witness of the two witnesses.' It means that people will say, 'The Dharma has arisen, ego-grasping has been eliminated, just like drawing water from wool, it has become soft and smooth.' Even if they say this, you must observe your own awareness, whether it has become stiff and dull at that time, whether you have still lost ego-grasping at that time. Conversely, even if you feel like you have fallen into hell, headfirst, you have no regrets, this feeling is the most important. Use all your abilities, such as faith, wisdom, and diligence, continuously and without interruption, irrigate with blood and sweat, and strive to cultivate a mind that says, 'Even if I die right now, I have no regrets.' Only when you reach this level, the practice has reached the standard. Therefore, do not be satisfied with seeing a little bit of good in others or receiving a little bit of benefit, this is not important. Similarly, explaining and reciting the Dharma should also focus on benefiting others and eliminating suffering. If you think that you have become learned and capable, it may be a form of arrogance.
