Should be meditated upon. Second, cultivate compassion. Third, cultivate joy. Finally, there is equanimity.' As stated in the 'Gur Tantra': 'With the four abodes of Brahma, soothe the weariness of the mind.' Therefore, there are many ways to meditate, but the unique and non-overlapping method is: When reciting 'May all sentient beings have happiness,' visualize oneself clearly as the deity, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) at the heart, emanates the essence of the deity Pukkasi, immeasurable blue light radiating from the right nostril, purifying the earth element of all sentient beings, placing them in the state of Pukkasi, then retracting, merging into the Hūṃ at the heart from the left nostril. Similarly, when reciting 'May all sentient beings be free from suffering,' as before, from the Hūṃ at the heart emanates the essence of Rikchoma, white light, purifying the water element of all sentient beings, placing them in the state of Rikchoma, etc., the same as before. When reciting 'May all sentient beings have happiness free from suffering,' from the Hūṃ at the heart emanates the essence of Domma, blue with a reddish hue, purifying the fire element of all sentient beings, placing them in the state of Domma, etc. When reciting 'May all sentient beings be free from near and far, attachment and aversion,' from the Hūṃ at the heart emanates the essence of Yungma, green light, purifying the wind element of all sentient beings, placing them in the state of Yungma, etc., all four are the same. The objects of purification for these accumulations of merit are: the basis of accumulating sins in the three times of past, future, and present, all the sins that one has committed in the past, and those that will be committed in the future, and those that are being committed now, all of these are transformed into the object of accumulating merit, which is the form of the deity Hevajra. The objects of sin accumulation in the three times, the Guru and the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), the outer container world and the inner sentient beings, all these objects upon which sins have been accumulated are transformed into the form of the Guru and the Hevajra nine-deity mandala. The method of accumulating merit is that all actions of body, speech, and mind are transformed into methods of accumulating merit such as prostrations and offerings. Accumulating Wisdom Merit: The method of accumulating wisdom merit is, as stated in the Root Tantra: 'Or emptiness is enlightenment.' And as stated in the 'Gur Tantra': 'With true and false actions, there is no need to approach with signs, with the union of no birth, this birth is well spoken of.' According to the degree of familiarity with emptiness, which is the meaning of Oṃ Śūnyatā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཤུ་ནྱ་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ शुन्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ śūnyatā, Chinese literal meaning: emptiness), there are two types of meditation: gradual meditation on emptiness and sudden meditation on emptiness. First, appearance is mind, mind is illusion, illusion... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Self-nature is without inherent existence. Not clinging to all appearances of self and others, abide in the state of emptiness. Declare Śūnyatā (emptiness). For those who are well-versed in the practice of emptiness, not clinging to all appearances of self and others, meditate on emptiness, and simultaneously perform the blessings of mantra. The meaning of the mantra is: Oṃ (seed syllable, perfection of body, speech, and mind), Mirror-like Wisdom (Ādarśa-jñāna), Śūnyatā (Sanskrit, Śūnyatā, emptiness) Equality Wisdom (Samatā-jñāna), Wisdom (Jñāna, Sanskrit, Jñāna, wisdom) Discriminating Wisdom (Pratyavekṣaṇa-jñāna), Vajra (Sanskrit, Vajra, diamond) Accomplishing Wisdom (Kṛtyānuṣṭhāna-jñāna), Svābhāva (Sanskrit, Svābhāva, self-nature) Dharmadhātu Wisdom (Dharmadhātu-jñāna), Who am I (Ātmako'haṃ, Sanskrit, Ātmako'haṃ, who am I)? That is me. Furthermore, Śūnyatā (Sanskrit, Śūnyatā, emptiness) is the object to be realized, self-nature is pure. Wisdom (Jñāna, Sanskrit, Jñāna, wisdom) is the wisdom that realizes the object. Vajra (Sanskrit, Vajra, diamond) is the way in which the subject realizes the object in a non-dual manner. Svābhāva (Sanskrit, Svābhāva, self-nature) is that the subject is also pure in its self-nature. Who am I (Ātmako'haṃ, Sanskrit, Ātmako'haṃ, who am I)? That is its self-nature. The basis to be purified and the way of purification: On the basis of the Alaya consciousness, all past deaths and all future deaths, all outer worlds that have been destroyed in the past and will be destroyed in the future, transform into the luminous emptiness of accumulating wisdom, and by practicing the four paths, one attains the fruit of Dharmakāya. The necessity of such practice: Jetsun Tsemö (rJe btsun rtse mos) said: The necessity of accumulating wisdom, it is necessary to know that there are four types: From the defilements of conceptual imputation, the necessity of purification; Secondly, the Omniscient One (Thams cad mkhyen pa) can generate the sprout of the gods; thirdly, accumulating merit is to connect with the accumulation of wisdom; fourthly, from the Dharmakāya, in order to accomplish the Rūpakāya. Thus it is said. Auspicious! Auspicious! Meditating on the Protection Wheel Third, the protection wheel. Ḍombipa said: Having previously meditated on the emptiness of self-nature, the yogi should remember his aspiration. As it is said, in order to purify conceptual thoughts, from the pure light of suchness emptiness, the yogi, from the post-meditation of his own aspiration and the power of compassion, in order to purify and arise the various deities, it is first necessary to practice the protection wheel. For this, there are the practice of the common protection wheel and the uncommon protection wheel, and the necessity of such practice, a total of three. First, in the Root Tantra it is said: Repa (Re phas) previously meditated on the sun, in that sun arises Hūṃ (seed syllable, destroyer), various vajras, the vajra is the fence, and also meditate as the wall. And in the Gur it is said: After that is the vow of protection. The meaning of what is said: In which protection wheel does joy arise, after joy arises in that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
