The supreme yogi who is detached from the world, whose revered names are Ngagwang Kunga Gyaltsen (Speech Empowerment, All Joyful Banner), Jampal Delek Gyatso (Gentle Glory Ocean), Rinchen Tsultrim Wangchuk (Precious Discipline Empowerment), and others. Upon hearing his name, people would involuntarily feel devotion and reverence. After praying, one would surely receive the nectar of blessings into their hearts. The lineage lamas are all great accomplished beings, and they are the oral transmission lineage. So, what is the oral transmission lineage? It refers to the warm breath of the blessing of the pith instructions, transmitted from the guru's mouth to the disciple's ear. This is called the oral transmission lineage. Then, what are the differences between these three lineages? From a conventional perspective, there may seem to be differences, but from an ultimate perspective, they are all emanations from the mind of Dharmakaya Samantabhadra (Kuntuzangpo), and are his heart-sons. As Salo wrote in the 'Stages of the Path Prayer': 'Whether direct or indirect Vajra masters, inherently spontaneously accomplished, manifesting the Dharmakaya, to the continuous activity of various illusory forms, I pay homage.' Therefore, this profound Vajrakilaya pith instruction, which possesses the three lineages, is more superior than other Dharma. Because in the Land of Snows (Tibet), it is the Sakya lords' immaculate mind practice essence and the crown of pith instructions. From the words of the primordial Buddha until now, it has been the path traversed by continuously present Vidyadhara yogis and accomplished ones. If later practitioners follow this path, they will quickly attain Buddhahood. This stream of empowerment has not dried up, the essence of the pith instructions has not changed, the lineage has not been interrupted, and it is a profound path that is free from all disputes in the world! Those who wish to quickly attain the supreme siddhi of Mahamudra through this path must practice the pith instructions through the gate of the confluence of the four rivers. The four rivers are: The river of ripening empowerment, including the introduction to the generation stage and completion stage; The river of scriptural explanation, including commentaries, टीकाs, and emptiness; The river of pith instruction practice, including practice and realization; And the river of essential oral instructions, including questions and answers and the removal of obstacles. First, the river of ripening empowerment requires a qualified guru in a qualified mandala... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A qualified master is described as one who can ripen disciples. The qualifications of a master are mentioned in the 'Mandala Ritual Order Root Commentary': 'Wisdom is mature in the continuum, Samadhi can be used, All internal and external collections of scriptures, Without doubt or hesitation. The supreme secrets, Are not spread to inferior vessels, Having obtained profound empowerment.' If one can find someone with all these qualities of a master, that is best. If not, then if the qualities are very high, even if there are some slight flaws, they can still be a master. As it is said in the 'True Proximity': 'In the age of strife, the empowerment master has flaws and qualities mixed. It is impossible to be completely free from sin. Whoever has more excellent qualities and virtuous conduct, then the disciples should rely on him.' So, if mixed with flaws, is it the same as the Vajra masters mentioned earlier? It is not so. In order to tame impure beings, there is also the saying of taming with impure actions. As it is said in the 'Vajrakila Root Tantra': 'To tame impure beings, Through the compassion and skillful means of transformation, Beautified with ornaments and arrangements, Manifesting for the benefit of beings, With a teacher who is in accordance with wisdom, The actions of the emanation body are inconceivable.' Therefore, impure beings have impure thoughts, and because of impure thoughts, actions also appear impure, but in reality, they are not stained by flaws. As it is said: 'Abiding in the world, and acting in the world, Like a lotus, unstained by attachment, Praise to you, the nature of pure desire.' Therefore, we should understand that it is necessary to have a master who has received empowerment, whose rituals are flawless, and who takes disciples with compassion. The qualifications of a disciple, as the root commentary says: 'Able to withstand obstacles without turning back, having vows, purifying through practicing the three wisdoms. Always happy with the instructions and transmissions of mantra, speaking gently and pleasantly. Not afraid of the profound meaning of skillful means and wisdom, and the meaning of non-duality, respecting the master, skilled in drawing mandalas.' Having all these qualifications is best. If not, then it is necessary to have faith, wisdom, and diligence, to protect the vows of mantra like life, and to respect the master. Second, explaining the text. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
