'Above and below are of divine nature,' thus it is said. Furthermore, though possessing the glory of a Chakravartin (སྒྱུར་རྒྱལ་,梵文:Chakravartin,梵文罗马拟音:Chakravartin,汉语字面意思:转轮王), if lacking even a small ray of light, one cannot be a true king. Similarly, even the supreme son, though possessing all the deities, if body, speech, mind, and wisdom are not integrated into one, one cannot become supreme. Therefore, one must contemplate the three-faced Dvala (དབལ་,梵文:Dvala,梵文罗马拟音:Dvala,汉语字面意思:忿怒尊) with its three corners, three Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:种子字) syllables, and three Phaṭ (ཕཊ,梵文:phaṭ,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:摧破) syllables placed on each face, and a white A (ཨ,梵文:a,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:种子字) syllable at the top, thus contemplating it as the essence of one wisdom. As the Tantra says, 'Three Phaṭ syllables are placed on the three faces, and three Hūṃ syllables are placed on the three corners.' Moreover, though possessing glory, if not empowered as king, one cannot be a true king. Similarly, even the supreme son, if not empowered with the five Buddha families, one cannot be a supreme son. The method is as follows: In the palm of one's right hand, on top of a sun disc, generate Samantabhadra (ཀུན་བཟང་) from the Hūṃ syllable; in the palm of the left hand, on top of a moon disc, generate Samantabhadri (ཀུན་བཟང་མོ) from the A syllable. After generating, on the five fingers of the right hand, on top of the sun disc, generate the five Buddha families from the five seed syllables of the five families; on the five fingers of the left hand, on top of the moon disc, contemplate the five consorts from the five seed syllables of the five consorts. Thus, contemplate the bodhicitta of the union of father and mother, dissolving into the supreme son, and contemplate receiving the empowerment. As the Secret Tantra says, 'In the palm of the right hand, on the sun disc, generate Samantabhadra with light; in the left hand, on the moon disc from the A syllable, generate Samantabhadri from the A syllable. The middle finger is Vairocana (རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད); the thumb is Akshobhya (མི་བསྐྱོད་པ); the index finger is Ratnasambhava (རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན); the ring finger is Amoghasiddhi (དོན་ཡོད་གྲུབ་པ་སྟེ); the little finger is Amitābha (སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས). The five fingers of the left hand are the five consorts. At the time of the union of method and wisdom, the fingers are slightly crossed, and the palms are joined together.' This is the empowerment of the great self. Thereafter is the empowerment of the wrathful deities of all families: Contemplate countless wrathful deities emanating from the root mandala of oneself, uttering the sounds 'Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ,' dissolving into the supreme son, thereby gaining the power to liberate the three realms simultaneously, and possessing might and strength. This is the empowerment of the wrathful deities. The complete empowerment of the nature of body, speech, and mind is: With one's own two hands forming the Makara-vimoksha mudra (ཆུ་སྲིན་རྣམ་གྲོལ་གྱི), holding the effigy of the supreme son with this mudra, contemplate countless subtle hand symbols emanating from the bodhicitta of Vajrakumara (རྡོ་རྗེ་གཞོན་ནུ་) father and mother, dissolving back in, thereby contemplating oneself as one with Vajrakumara and the supreme son, and possessing the nature of body, speech, and mind. This is said by the wise to be the complete empowerment. The Makara-vimoksha mudra is described in the Secret Tantra: 'At this time, the fingers are crossed behind the back, the two middle fingers are raised high, and the effigy is placed between them, then the fingers form a lotus shape.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As if in a state before opening the mouth: Hold the phurba between the palms. Thus it is said. Furthermore, even if one receives empowerment, if one does not possess immeasurable merit, it is like a king who is not fit to rule. This supreme son also needs the blessings of body, speech, and mind. Therefore, visualize Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:om,汉语字面意思:Om) at the crown of the supreme son's head, Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Ah) at the throat, and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुम्,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) at the heart. From there, radiate light and bless the deities of body, speech, and mind in a manner of emanating and withdrawing. Just as one needs to wear armor when going to war, recite the mantra of Betali to bless this supreme son, smear the body with black and white mustard seeds, and have the small wrathful deity guard without any gaps, thinking that he is being sent to carry out the task of subduing enemies and obstacles. As it says in the tantra: 'In order to incite the king of wrathful deities, bless black mustard seeds and generate the small wrathful deity.' The mantra of Betali is: 'Betali Mandali Raksha,' and 'Makula Hala,' which is the mantra of Guggul. Furthermore, it is not enough to just wear armor; one also needs to hold sharp weapons. Therefore, recite mantras, burn Guggul incense, and think of him as having heroism and inexhaustible power. As it says in the tantra: 'In order to generate the power of the phurba, fumigate with the smoke of a black tongue.' Bless and empower, burn Guggul incense, and scatter white mustard seeds. Blessing and empowerment are extremely important. Furthermore, sharp weapons need to pierce the enemy; the red-black phurba smeared with blood is smoking, and think of it as destroying with a single touch. As it says in the tantra: 'In order to destroy malice, smear with the blood of goats, dogs, and pigs.' Furthermore, after a king has won a battle against the enemy, he needs to conquer all the enemy's battlefields. Relying on the samaya, place the hearts of enemies and obstacles at the boundary between black and white. As it says in the tantra: 'Place it at the boundary between black and white, where all important points converge.' Thus, how many supreme sons are there who are similar to a Chakravartin king in many ways? There are one hundred and eight in the extensive form, twenty-one or five in the medium form, and one Vajra Phurba Vajra) in the most concise form. Its names are Approaching Phurba, Material Mandala, and Supreme Son. Approaching Phurba is because it accumulates the power of approaching, and Material Mandala is because the Buddhas and blessings gather here. Supreme Son is because he is the heart son of the great Padmasambhava Lotus Born), the mandala body is complete, he can accomplish all activities, and he is the son of the ten wrathful deities. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
