That is it (the stage of resolute conduct). The divisions are: forbearance, which has three types: small, medium, and large. The fourth is the highest mundane dharma, which has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: 'The action of that samadhi is its nature.' From the context of such statements, it is the concordant ascertainment portion distinguished by the three causes of the object and aspect that are actually shown. The divisions are: the highest mundane dharma, which has three types: small, medium, and large. The second is the explanation of what is to be abandoned—conceptualization, which has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any mind that engages in a reversed manner with respect to the state of affairs of an object, which primarily obstructs the attainment of omniscience; this is the definition of conceptualization as explained here. The divisions are: conceptualization of the object to be abandoned and conceptualization of the subject to be abandoned. The first has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization to be abandoned that focuses on the object to be grasped and clings to the object. The divisions are: conceptualization of the object of affliction and conceptualization of the object of purification. The first has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization of the object of affliction that focuses on the phenomena of complete affliction and clings to the object. The divisions are: it has nine divisions based on the division of the nine objects. The second has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization of the object of purification that focuses on the phenomena of purification and clings to the object; this is the definition of conceptualization of the object of purification. The divisions are: it has nine divisions based on the division of the nine objects. The second is conceptualization of the subject, which has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization to be abandoned that focuses on the subject and clings to the subject. The divisions are: conceptualization of substance and conceptualization of permanence. The first has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization of the subject to be abandoned that focuses on the phenomena that serve as the basis for imputation of a person (Sanskrit: Pudgala) and clings to it as being substantially existent. The divisions are: it has nine divisions based on the division of the nine objects. The second has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: any conceptualization of the subject to be abandoned that focuses on the phenomena that serve as the basis for imputation of a being and clings to it as being permanent; this is the definition of conceptualization of permanence. The divisions are: it has nine divisions based on the division of the nine objects. The third is the explanation of the limbs of the dharma for entering into what is to be accomplished, which has four aspects: the basis for accomplishment, the object for accomplishment, the purpose for accomplishment, and the nature of accomplishment itself. The first has two aspects: definition and division. The definition is: the dharma that is its own basis, which serves as the basis for the accomplishment of the Great Vehicle. The divisions are: the temporary basis and the ultimate basis. The first is: referring to practitioners such as Bodhisattvas. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
