The five powers are: the power of mindfulness, the power of diligence, the power of samadhi, and the power of wisdom. As stated in 'Letter to a Friend': 'Samadhi, wisdom, the five supreme dharmas, are power, mastery, and the peak.' The Abhidharmakosha states: 'The seven sections are arranged in order, their functions are with the initial ones, and the limbs of the decisive division, greatly enhance meditation and seeing.' Therefore, it is said. Furthermore, in the stage of warmth, it is a precursor to the arising of the fire of non-conceptual wisdom, hence it is called the stage of warmth; in the peak stage, the roots of virtue do not decline; in the stage of forbearance, one can abandon the lower realms; in the stage of supreme dharma, one can attain the most supreme of all worldly dharmas, because it is a precursor to the arising of the fire of non-conceptual wisdom.' It is also said: 'One who attains the peak does not have their roots destroyed, one who attains forbearance does not fall into the lower realms, one who attains the supreme of worldly dharmas.' This is the fourth explanation of the meaning of the words: The path of seeing is the path that is directly connected, so it is called the connecting path. Decisiveness is the path of seeing, and it benefits from its perspective, so it is called the limb of decisive division, or it is in accordance with it in terms of object and aspect and follows it, so it is called the similar part of decisive division, or the meaning determined through hearing and thinking, realized in the manner of a general meaning, and directed towards direct perception, so it is called the meaning of direct perception, these are all explanations of the meaning of the words, including the names. Third, the path of seeing of the Shravakas is also divided into four types: the aspect of what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing, the aspect of the antidote path of seeing, the aspect of the fruit of abandonment, and the aspect of the individual who abides in this. The first type is further divided into two types: nature and difference. The first is: what is to be abandoned by the conceptualized, which is possessed by the uninterrupted path of seeing of the Shravakas, which is the real antidote to oneself, and which is the inverted clinging to the truth. The second difference is: from the perspective of the entity, it is divided into four types: what is to be abandoned by seeing the truth of suffering, what is to be abandoned by seeing the truth of origin, what is to be abandoned by seeing the truth of cessation, and what is to be abandoned by seeing the truth of the path, their respective characteristics are: what is to be abandoned by the conceptualized, which is possessed by the uninterrupted path of seeing of the Shravakas, which is the real antidote to oneself, and which is the inverted clinging to the truth of suffering. Similarly, the inverted clinging to the truth of origin, the inverted clinging to the truth of cessation, the inverted clinging to the truth of the path. From the perspective of the realms, there are three types of what is to be abandoned by seeing: the realm of desire, the realm of form, and the realm of formlessness. Each realm has four truths to be abandoned by seeing, for example, what is to be abandoned by seeing the truth of suffering in the realm of desire, there is also desire, anger, and pride.
