If it is said that the Dharmadhatu (法界, Dharma-realm) is extremely pure and is the realm of the Buddha (佛, Buddha). Then, what is this realm? It is the transformation of the clear aspect of the Alaya-vijñana (阿赖耶识, store consciousness) at the time of the cause, from the Mirror Wisdom (镜智, Mirror Wisdom), and the transformation of the aspect of emptiness, into the extremely pure Dharmadhatu. In order to understand this, it is necessary to comprehend it in detail from the oral instructions. Third, the order of arising, because it is coemergent wisdom, it can be explained as desired. Fourth, explaining the meaning of the words, as it is said in the sutra: 'Awakening from the sleep of ignorance, and also increasing wisdom in what is to be known, awakening like a lotus to become a Buddha, therefore it is called Buddha.' It is like this. The meaning of the word 'ground', as it is said in the Ornament of the Mahayana Sutras: 'Because countless beings do not perish, for those countless beings, because they constantly grow upwards, therefore they are considered to be the ground.' It is like this. Regarding the classification of the path, the second is the classification of the path. There are two types: the nature of the path and the classification of the path. First, the nature of the path is the entrance to liberation, or the opportunity and aftermath of becoming a Buddha. Second, the classification includes the path of the Shravakas (声闻, Hearers), the path of the Pratyekabuddhas (缘觉, Solitary Realizers), and the path of the Mahayana (大乘, Great Vehicle). The first type is further divided into two types: nature and classification. First, the nature is the entrance to the liberation of the Shravakas, or the opportunity and aftermath of the Shravakas becoming Buddhas. The classification includes the five paths of the Shravakas: the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of no more learning. The first type is further divided into two types: nature and classification. First, some say that the first realization of the Shravakas, the path of accumulation of the Pratyekabuddhas has the first realization of the Shravakas, is the referent, because it is the nature. Therefore, the self-school believes that it is the entrance to the liberation of the Shravakas of the first Shravakas. Second, the classification includes the small, medium, and large paths of accumulation of the Shravakas. The nature is in order, the path of accumulation of the Shravakas, distinguished by the merits of the four mindfulnesses. The four mindfulnesses are: mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of feeling, mindfulness of mind, mindfulness of phenomena. The former is distinguished by the merits of the four right abandonments. The four right abandonments are: not generating unwholesome dharmas that have not arisen, abandoning those that have arisen, generating wholesome dharmas that have not arisen, and increasing those that have arisen. The latter is distinguished by the merits of the four legs of miraculous power. The four legs of miraculous power are: desire --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The four legs of magical power are: samadhi of desire (ང་ངེ་འཛིན་, Ngangezin, meaning 'my clinging'), samadhi of effort (བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཀྱི་, Tson drü kyi, meaning 'diligence'), samadhi of mind (སེམས་ཀྱི་, Sem kyi, meaning 'mind'), and samadhi of discrimination (དཔྱོད་པའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་, Chö pai ting nge dzin, meaning 'analysis'), all of which possess the characteristic of abandonment (སྤོང་བའི་འདུ་བྱེད་, Pong wai dü jé, meaning 'abandonment'). Each of these four can be further divided into two types: those with sharp faculties who follow the path led by wisdom, and those with dull faculties who follow the path led by faith. Furthermore, depending on their disposition and destiny, they also exist in the two paths of accumulation of the Hearer Vehicle: one destined to become a Hearer Vehicle practitioner, and one that may turn to other vehicles. Second, regarding the Hearer Vehicle's path of preparation, it includes four aspects: definition, classification, qualities, and etymological explanation. First, the definition is: the opportunity for enlightenment in the continuum of a Hearer Vehicle practitioner, which has matured and is close to fruition. Secondly, from the perspective of essence, the Hearer Vehicle's path of preparation is divided into four: heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme dharma. Their definitions are, in order: heat is what arises after the completion of the great accumulation path of the Hearer Vehicle; peak is the gateway to liberation of the Hearer Vehicle before the arising of the first moment of the peak; forbearance is what arises after the completion of the peak, similar to before the arising of the first forbearance; supreme dharma is what arises after the completion of the forbearance, similar to before the arising of the first supreme dharma; supreme dharma is what arises after the completion of the supreme dharma, similar to before the arising of the suffering dharma forbearance. Each of these four heats, etc., also has three types: small, medium, and large. However, the Vaibhashika school believes that the supreme dharma has only one moment, so they do not acknowledge this classification. The *Abhidharmakosha* says: 'Just as great forbearance is only one moment, so is the supreme dharma.' Furthermore, each of these can be divided into two types: one destined to attain the enlightenment of the Hearer Vehicle, and one that is uncertain. However, the Vaibhashika school believes that after obtaining great forbearance, one is destined to attain enlightenment. The *Abhidharmakosha* says: 'The two turn away from the path of learning and will become Buddhas.' Furthermore, from the perspective of the individual who is the basis, there are two types: the path of preparation of those who are stream-enterers, and the path of preparation of those who are not stream-enterers. The former is further divided into three types: the stream-enterer, the once-returner (who has partially abandoned the afflictions of the desire realm), and the path of preparation of the non-returner. The latter is divided into four types: heat, peak, and small and medium forbearance. Third, regarding the qualities: when in the heat and peak stages, one can obtain the five roots, namely the root of faith, the root of mindfulness, the root of diligence, the root of samadhi, and the root of wisdom. When in the forbearance and supreme dharma stages, one can obtain the five powers, namely the power of faith. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
