Without having accomplished the three grounds (ས་གསུམ་, referring to the paths of seeing, cultivation, and no more learning), then, That Samadhi-wisdom which manifests the ultimate reality is not a contaminated path of meditation, because it is Samadhi-wisdom that single-pointedly abides in the suchness of phenomena. It is not accomplishment or meditation, because it is not abandonment or antidote; it is not pure meditation, because it is not a path of liberation. Therefore, it is uncontaminated meditation, because it is the Mahayana meditation that does not possess the dualistic conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped, because it is the Samadhi-wisdom of the eighth-ground Bodhisattva that single-pointedly abides in the suchness of phenomena. Therefore, although the scriptures explicitly state that the contaminated path of meditation is divided into three: rejoicing, dedication, and approval; and the uncontaminated path of meditation is divided into two: the path of accomplishment and the path of purification, the fact that these do not fully encompass all cases is the key point, may it be beneficial! Differentiated from the perspective of the mode of teaching, the paths of meditation taught in the first, second, fourth, and fifth stages respectively have the characteristics of: after the Mahayana taught from the reverse aspect of the antidote accumulation, taught in the first stage of Abhisamaya. The second way to differentiate is: there are nine from the antidote accumulation of the second ground to the antidote accumulation of the tenth ground. After the Mahayana taught from the reverse aspect of the Mahayana realization lineage, the characteristic taught in the second stage of Abhisamaya. The second way to differentiate is: there are five: rejoicing, dedication, approval, the path of accomplishment, and the path of purification. The similarity taught from the reverse aspect of any of the signs of non-retrogression and the latter three combinations is the characteristic taught in the fourth stage. The ways to differentiate are: the smallest of the post-attainment, etc., nine, and the latter three combinations. The similarity taught from the reverse aspect of any of the peak combination of the path of meditation and the uninterrupted peak combination is the similarity of the fifth stage. The ways to differentiate are: Lion's Arrogance, Direct Transcendence, and Uninterrupted Peak Combination, three. Differentiated from the perspective of the grounds, there are ten grounds, because it is said in the scriptures: 'The ten grounds are the path of meditation.' Third, regarding the classification of the fruit of abandonment, there are two: characteristic and differentiation. The first is: the path of liberation that is freed from the defilements of the share of the uninterrupted path of the Mahayana path of meditation as its own cause. The ways to differentiate are: conditioned and unconditioned, two. The first is the path of liberation, and the second is the cessation of separate self-awareness. Fourth, regarding the classification of the individuals who abide therein, there are two: the characteristic and differentiation of the Mahayana meditator. The noble Bodhisattva who has attained the second ground is its characteristic. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes. Secondly, in terms of classification, there are two types of meditators: those who have the path in their continuum and those who do not. The first type includes the noble Bodhisattvas from the eighth bhumi onwards, and the noble Bodhisattvas from the first to the sixth bhumi who have the path in their continuum. Because upon attaining the eighth bhumi, one gains mastery over non-conceptual wisdom, there is no lack of possessing the path. Below the seventh bhumi, it is possible to have manifest conceptual thoughts to be abandoned through meditation, so there are both those who possess the path and those who do not. The second type includes the noble Bodhisattvas from the second to the seventh bhumi who still have manifest conceptual thoughts in their continuum. If one has the path of meditation in their continuum, it does not necessarily mean they are a meditator, because the one who has attained the path of seeing in the post-meditation state of the first bhumi, although they have the path of meditation in their continuum, they are not a meditator. If one does not have the path of meditation in their continuum, it also does not necessarily mean they are not a meditator, because the noble Bodhisattva of the second bhumi who has manifest conceptual thoughts in their continuum, although they do not have the path of meditation in their continuum, they are a meditator. Then, is the initial post-meditation wisdom the path of seeing or the path of meditation? It is not the path of seeing, because it is not the initial; nor is it the path of meditation, because it is not the latter. It is not the initial, because it is not meditative equipoise; it is not the latter, because it is not any of the nine paths of meditation: small, medium, and large. Sequentially, the nine paths, such as the smallest of the small, are the paths of meditation from the second to the tenth bhumi, so this is the wisdom of the first bhumi.' So it is said. This is unreasonable, because it can be inferred that there is an ordinary being's path that is neither the path of accumulation nor the path of preparation, because there is a path in the continuum of a noble learner that is neither the path of seeing nor the path of meditation. Furthermore, one who abides in the post-meditation wisdom of the first bhumi, it can be inferred that they are not a Bodhisattva, because they are neither a Bodhisattva of the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, nor a seer of the path, nor a meditator of the path. This can be established, because the path in their continuum is not any of the four paths of learning. Fifthly, regarding the Mahayana path of no more learning, there are also two aspects: definition and classification. The definition is the ultimate wisdom that directly realizes the selflessness of phenomena. In terms of classification, from the perspective of the basis, there are two types of wisdom: the wisdom in the continuum of the Sambhogakaya (enjoyment body) and the Nirmanakaya (emanation body); from the perspective of the way of teaching, there are two types of omniscience: the omniscience that primarily knows cause and effect, and the omniscience that knows all phenomena encompassed by general characteristics, specific characteristics, and defining characteristics. Third, regarding the classification of the results achieved by it, there are the definition and classification of the perfect Buddha.
