When one becomes familiar with things, habits arise. Similarly, practice should also be gradual. Even for those with the lowest faculties, practice should be done in stages. For those with medium or higher faculties, it is not necessary to follow a fixed sequence. During the practice of Karma Mudra (action seal), both oneself and appearances may naturally arise as the wisdom of co-emergent bliss. At that time, the feeling of no-birth may also naturally arise within oneself. This is Jnana Mudra (wisdom seal). Now, we begin to study the Alaya (ground consciousness), which is divided into three aspects. First, studying the meaning of Alaya: Alaya refers to the innate wisdom of self-nature, not the Alaya of ordinary beings. There are two types of defilements: adventitious defilements and co-emergent defilements. The nature of Alaya is the innate wisdom that is free from these two defilements, and its characteristic is to abide in bliss and emptiness. The method of practicing it is to gather the scattered awareness. If awareness is confused with the overall appearance of bliss and emptiness and cannot be distinguished, then one can focus the mind on the heart, between the eyebrows, or on the tip of the vajra jewel, or on the spine, or anywhere one likes, focusing on the bindu (drop) of the combined wind and mind. This is the method of practice. The degree of familiarity is that the bindu clearly appears in bliss and emptiness, and the awareness does not scatter elsewhere, being able to truly see and experience a state that is no different from reality. This is the method of gathering the scattered Alaya. Now, we begin to practice the appearance of Alaya, which is divided into two aspects: the blessing of the guru and the blessing of the disciple. First is the blessing of the guru: The guru should prepare all necessities such as the mandala in a secluded place with the lineage's oral instructions and blessings. Sitting comfortably on the seat, recite the fierce mantra of any wrathful deity as a protective circle. Because obstacles are likely to arise here, recite the protective mantra. Then, even if the yidam is Heruka, through the blessing of the dakini, the guru generates the pride of selflessness, and in a skull cup filled with alcohol, add amrita pills, or add the previously mentioned amrita, and transform the alcohol into amrita by reciting Om, Ah, Hum three times. Or transform it as described in the Ganden Four Deities. First, transform the alcohol into amrita. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even unblessed, unrotten heart nectar can be used. Before that, make a triangular mandala of alcohol with two fingers, and inside it make a circular mandala of alcohol [Haha Hrih]. Place a red flower in the center, and with devotion, visualize the form, hand symbols, and ornaments of Nairatmya (Mother of Selflessness) very clearly. Around it, visualize the fourteen vowels as they are arranged among the deities, and by devotionally contemplating these letters, regard them as the essence of the fourteen Dakinis. Then, with the blessed alcohol nectar, first offer it to Nairatmya [including those who travel in the sky and on land], and with the left ring finger and middle finger, recite Om Ah Svaha, scattering it on the mandala, imagining the nectar entering Nairatmya's mouth like white clouds, making her joyful and extremely happy. Then, reciting Om Ah Svaha and Om I Svaha, etc., insert and scatter the seed syllables of each Dakini, imagining the nectar entering their respective mouths like blue clouds, making them extremely happy, which is the accumulation of merit. Then, gather all those from the mandala into yourself, and in the center of the triangular mandala, pile up a heap of red flowers, and on top of it place a skull cup or vase filled with alcohol that has been blessed as nectar. On top of that, draw two overlapping Dharma wheels and Dharma sources on a mirror with red lead or cinnabar. In the center of the six-spoked wheel, on the spoke in front of the short A, allocate Jim and Kham respectively. Then, around the Dharma wheel, write Ei Bo. On the three spokes [if not, place a piece of red cloth on top as a samaya substance. [If not, place a piece of red cloth on top as a samaya substance.]] write the names of all from Brahmin to Lama. [A hermit says it is an accomplished one.] Then, from the meditation on emptiness, contemplate emptiness. [By melting them, the letters remain.] From within that, visualize a white triangular Dharma source. [Generate as three Lamas, melting them into letters.] Inside it, on the deer skin seat, in the heart of the moon, visualize La, from which arises a vajra dagger, from which arises Nairatmya, holding a red copper vajra dagger in her right hand, and a white skull cup filled with red blood in her left hand. Meditate as described in other tantras. In her heart, on the moon, visualize Ah. Then, in your own navel, visualize a white triangular Dharma source. Inside it, on the moon seat, visualize a small Nairatmya. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
