Third, to be convinced and actually realize that the sudden occurrence naturally subsides and cannot be abandoned by effort, there are two aspects: one is to realize by relating one's own mind to the dharmata (chos nyid), thereby causing that very dharmata to arise as one's own mind's guru; the second is that since there is no established entity separate from one's own mind, whatever appears is realized as dharmata, thereby causing appearance to arise as the guru. At that point, with the guru's instructions, one is freed from deluded meditation and realizes everything as bliss-emptiness-luminosity. At that time, awareness is naturally relaxed (according to Mitripa's view) and abides in its own state. If that experience is achieved, it is like being placed in the center of the sky. The guru places an object such as a vase that was not there before, and then by focusing firmly on it, a sudden thought arises. Then, the object is hidden, and one is introduced to the sound of a bell. By saying 'Vajrasana' (the Diamond Throne) and so on, sudden thoughts arise again, and one is introduced. That is introduction through symbols, and then it is shown directly, even if it arises as the five poisons and so on, that is not established; one should know one's own mind as like the sky. Then, one places the mind on that and meditates, and the method will be blessed. Then, one learns the vows of the meditator: transforming the basis of everything (kun gzhi) appearance into the path. Next, the practice of the inconceivable alaya (kun gzhi) is: making a maN+dala on a mirror with vermilion or red ochre, and drawing two images of Dha-mo-dha-ya in the center, and then writing mantras, and offering five offerings, especially red flowers. Make a 'ting lo' (dough offering) out of dough. Have all of these offered by a pure girl (if possible, five). Place a vermilion dot on the student's forehead. Give the 'ting lo' to the student to eat. The guru gathers all the dakinis (mkha' 'gro ma) and infuses the mantra into them. Then, inject that into the student's body. The student should also always contemplate in the secret place, so that all the dakinis are gathered. If one thinks clockwise towards others, one will be intoxicated; if counterclockwise, one will attract (note: all letters are red). The vow is to offer to a young woman every month. (From the view, a wound four fingers wide, is the wisdom in which all forms disappear). Do not step over red flowers (if the activity is successful). By experiencing it in this way, the guru's blessing will arise, and by engaging in practice, the inconceivable blessing will enter the eyes, and if one meditates on the menstruation of a young woman, there will be no second time. Meditate and practice for one month, for seven days. Om Sarva Buddha Dakini Me Vajra Virocani Ye Ha So Hum Om, all Buddhas, Dakinis, Me, Vajra Virochani, Come Here, Svaha! Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva buddha ḍākinī me vajra virocani ye ha so huṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all, Buddha, Dakini, me, Vajra, Virochani, Come Here, Svaha!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thus, the path will naturally arise. Initially, when practicing Tummo (Tibetan: གཏུམ་མོ།), if the whole body aches, it is a sign that the path is advancing rapidly [This is what འབུམ་ཟླས་ said]. Stop the practice of Tummo and instead learn the Hand Seal of Mind (Tibetan: ཡིད་ཀྱི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ།). When Tummo is stable, if oneself and appearances all feel happy, then learn the Hand Seal of Wisdom (Tibetan: ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ།). During the practice of Tummo, oneself and appearances all feel happy. [It is not necessarily the case that it arises in this way. After practicing Tummo, if signs arise through actions, then combine the actions with the practice of the Inconceivable, etc.] If the universal form of non-arising expands, causing consciousness to scatter, then learn the Alaya Consciousness (Tibetan: ཀུན་གཞི). After stabilizing on this basis, learn to transform appearances into the path. After stabilizing on this basis, learn the Inconceivable nature of the Alaya Consciousness. Because there is no certainty as to when beings of different faculties will realize wisdom, there is also no need to practice everything. If one cannot transform appearances into the path, for a great practitioner, [Tummo gradually arises, and it is impossible to change from the Hand Seal.] if one does not feel happiness from a certain part of the body, then that is the lowest accomplishment, and one needs to practice in stages. At ཞར་ལ་ཞལ་ in Lhodrak Chukyer (Tibetan: ལྷོ་བྲག་ཆུ་ཁྱེར།), the oral instructions of ཞལ་ were recorded. The instructions of Metripa (Tibetan: མེ་ཏྲི་བ།) end here. Homage to the venerable gurus! First, perform the offering of the Mandala (Tibetan: མཎྜལ་), etc. Then, for the chosen deity that one practices, recite ཨེ་ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit,) each 100,000 times. After that, on the Mandala for bestowing blessings upon the disciple, place a bowl or mirror, smear it with red earth or paint, and cover it with a red cloth. With a gold [First, recite to one's guardian deity, etc.] or silver stylus, draw a stacked Dharma source (Tibetan: ཆོས་འབྱུང་བརྩེགས་མ།). In the center, write the mantra of the Sow-faced Mother (Tibetan: ཕག་མོ།), or ཨཱ་ལི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit,). Visualize Heruka (Tibetan: ཧེ་རུ་ཀ) or Selfless Mother (Tibetan: བདག་མེད་མ།) as the chosen deity, and visualize everything in the mirror as the nature of Dakinis (Tibetan: ཌཱ་ཀི་མ།). Invite the Dakinis to descend. Find five young girls, treat them like Dakinis, and have them make offerings to the fifteen goddesses. First, bless the offerings. The Torma (Tibetan: ཟན་གྱི་ཏིང་ལོ།) offered to the goddesses is rectangular, shaped like white mustard seeds, and smeared with ghee as a vow [Five forms, thirty-four humans, fourteen mothers.] substance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
