It is said that 'མེས་བཞག་ཡོད་' (mes bzhag yod, ancestral instructions) were left. There are many different accounts of how he came four times, but initially, Mahasiddha Avadhutipa, based on the prophecy of Avalokiteśvara (སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་, Avalokiteśvara), went to Gayadhara (ག་ཡ་དྷ་ར་, Gayadhara), which was located on the banks of the Lohosimha River (ཆུ་བོ་ལོ་ཧོ་སིཾ, Lohosimha River) and was prophesied to be the place of offering for the king who was a translator (ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, Lotsawa), and was told to teach this path. Initially, he came in the manner of delivering the door of Dharma to Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen). After that, he was known as Atsara Marpo (ཨ་ཙ་ར་དམར་པོ, Atsara Marpo) or the one with the robes of Lava. The second time, he was invited by Je Drok (རྗེ་འབྲོག, Je Drok). After that, he was known as Lujin (ཀླུ་འཛིན, Lujin) or Sprinzin (སྤྲིན་འཛིན, Sprinzin), that is, Gayadhara (ག་ཡ་དྷ་ར་, Gayadhara). The third time, he was invited by Gowo Lotsawa Lhatse After that, he was known as the Power of Clouds The fourth time, he was invited by Gyi lo Jo Lotsawa Dawa'i Wozer (གྱི་ལོ་ཇོ་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་ཟླ་བའི་འོད་ཟེར, Gyi lo Jo Lotsawa Dawa'i Wozer). After that, he was also known as Gayadhara (ག་ཡ་དྷ་ར, Gayadhara). Therefore, everyone agrees that he came to Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen) in the manner of delivering the door of Dharma. Among the four times he came, one time he did not rely on a translator (ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, Lotsawa), and three times he relied on a translator (ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, Lotsawa), which seems reasonable. However, it is said that Drokmi (འབྲོག་མི, Drokmi) did not invite him with a grand ceremony, so even if it is counted as three times, it does not fully satisfy the meaning of delivering the door of Dharma. That is how he came. As for how he established the tradition of oral teachings, in general, he had five translator (ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, Lotsawa) disciples in Tibet: Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen), Go (མགོས, Go), Gyi Jo (གྱི་ཇོ, Gyi Jo), Zhönnu Sherab (གཞོན་ནུ་ཤེས་རབ, Zhönnu Sherab), and Nyö Jungpo (མཉོས་འབྱུང་པོ, Nyö Jungpo). Among them, the one who was most able to receive the grace of the oral teachings, possess the complete treasury of oral teachings, and propagate them was Lachen Drokmi Gyi Jo (གྱི་ཇོ, Gyi Jo) also received the grace of the oral teachings and created translations and explanations of the Vajra verses, and developed them somewhat. Nyö (མཉོས་, Nyö) also received some oral teachings, although he did not receive the complete transmission. It is said that the other two did not have the precious oral teachings of the tantric cycles. In short, it was initially given to Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen), and after Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen) passed away, it was temporarily given to Gyi Jo (གྱི་ཇོ, Gyi Jo). Part three, regarding how Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen) propagated the Dharma, is divided into three aspects: the great history of Lachen (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen), how the excellent disciples appeared, and how they propagated the oral teachings. First, as mentioned earlier, the later dissemination is divided into two parts, upper and lower, and Lachen's (བླ་ཆེན, Lachen) lineage of Pratimoksha vows relies on the lower dissemination, that is, from Mangdak Darma's (མངའ་བདག་དར་མ, Mangdak Darma) sons Wosung (འོད་སྲུང, Wosung) and Yumten (ཡུམ་བརྟན, Yumten). The former gave birth to Pelkhortsen (དཔལ་འཁོར་བཙན, Pelkhortsen), and Pelkhortsen gave birth to Tri Trashi Tsekpa Pel (ཁྲི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བརྩེགས་པ་དཔལ, Tri Trashi Tsekpa Pel) and Kyile Nyima Gön (སྐྱིད་ལྷེ་ཉི་མ་མགོན, Kyile Nyima Gön). The latter is known as the Three Gön (མགོན་གསུམ, Gönsum) of the upper region. Starting from the upper region... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He extensively carried out the work of establishing the foundation. As mentioned before, Dpal lde, 'Od lde, and Lha lde of the Lde family, known as the Lower Three Ldes, from the time when the political and economic power flourished in the palace of Dpal ldan grol ma lha rtse, sent messengers to Lo ston rdo rje dbang phyug, the disciple of Bla chen dgongs gsal, inviting seven monks including rGya shAkya gzhon nu, Se ye shes brtson 'grus, and Myang rdo rje rgyal mtshan, along with two novices and one layperson, totaling ten people, and established a monastic community in Grol ma rgyang du. They gathered intelligent children from their subjects, with rGya serving as the Khenpo (abbot), Se as the Acharya (teacher), and Myang as the secret master, ordaining about three hundred and fifty individuals, making the doctrine of the Vinaya (discipline) shine like the rising sun. Among them, the most excellent was Bla chen himself. So, how did Bla chen himself hear and propagate the general Mantras, especially the Lamrim (Stages of the Path), and particularly the oral transmissions? In general, the Zhalu school believes that Bla chen went to India two or three times, while the Sakya school believes that he only went once, and that was just a brief visit. It is said that there is no solid evidence for the claim that he went three times, but there seems to be some basis for the claim that he went twice. In any case, the reason why Bla chen initially went to India was that after Khri dar ma destroyed the Dharma, the embers of the Dharma had slightly revived, but people were ignorant of the profound points and only insisted on acting according to their own desires, so the true Dharma had not been restored. Therefore, the Khenpo, Acharya, and Sangha (community) consulted and said: 'Which of you will go to India to study the Dharma? We will provide all the necessary conditions.' Then, 'Brog stag leang gsum took on this task. At that time, the Khenpo and Acharya gave important instructions and advice, emphasizing that the root of the Dharma is the Vinaya, the foundation is Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom), the core is Madhyamaka (Middle Way), and the essence is Secret Mantra. The Khenpo rGya secretly gave Leang ye shes gzhon nu ten taels of gold and some musk, etc., and had him go to Mang yul first. He himself then entered strict retreat, instructing that no one should contact him. The Acharya Se mkhyen pa yangs pa explained the situation in detail to the patrons rTsad po brothers and their entourage, and collected a large amount of ka ru ma.
