Like a hammer that destroys most of the previous internal and external sectarian delusions, because when they teach, they do not distinguish between 'self-name' and 'commonality', but admit wood, etc., as 'commonality' and 'substantial'. This is irreversible for me, because when entering and measuring, I admit that the 'commonality' of wood is not substantial, etc. When teaching and measuring, I admit wood, etc., as 'commonality' and 'non-substantial'. This point also needs to be remembered. Therefore, if you combine your own answer with the treatise, then in the face of conceptualization, merely excluding the 'other-characteristic' of 'non-substantial', you can be liberated from the faults of the appearance of 'substantial' and the one and other of 'entity', because you are 'other-exclusion'. Although in all appearances of 'substantial', there is no truly existing 'commonality', in the face of exclusion, there is a way to establish it, because merely distinguishing 'non-substantial' in the face of conceptualization is the 'commonality' of all 'substantial' appearances. As a dharma, you must admit this, because relying on you, one can obtain the 'self-characteristic' of the entering object. This teaching is one verse from 《Refutation of Unreal》. The explanation for this is: 'Therefore, since 'commonality' is imputed and does not exist in meaning, it is liberated from the faults of one or other of 'commonality' and 'difference'.' Just as one is liberated from the faults of examining the one and other of 'entity' through the way that 'commonality' is not 'entity'. However, the Goshakyas say that even if wood is 'entity', it is neither the 'entity' of Shapa nor other 'entity', which is like a lion making the sound of a fox. The key is that the sound of wood, as a dharma, you have two abilities, namely the ability to cut off 'non-wood' and establish 'wood'. Even so, this sound, as a dharma, you are not actually performing the act of directly expressing the 'reverse commonality' of wood and the 'self-characteristic' of wood, because you directly express the 'reverse' of wood, so it is merely indirectly understanding the 'self-characteristic' of wood. This teaching is one and a half verses from 《Refutation of Unreal》. The fifth refutation is: If someone says, ' উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus) and blue do not have a common basis, because in উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus), blue, etc., the universally existing blue is not established in meaning.' Then, this is not pervasive, because separating উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus) and blue, through the power of the conceptualization that combines উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus) and blue into one, establishes the common basis of উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus) and blue. Therefore, the common basis of উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari utpala, Romanized Sanskrit utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus) and blue is not viewed from the perspective of our visible blue cognitive ability. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, because that is fabricated and established by concept. However, if *utpala* (青莲花) and blue are the same entity, then it is not necessarily the case that it is not its object, because *utpala* (青莲花) and blue themselves are self-characterized. So, you rely on the previous one only as a reverse, Isn't it using the verbosity of words to accomplish the essence of the treatise? No, even if *utpala* (青莲花) is the same entity as *utpala* (青莲花) and blue, establishing it as such a same entity must be done only through nominal concepts, because direct perception does not apprehend it as such a same entity. If we give a clear example, just as smoke is related to fire, if it is related to fire, it cannot be established in meaning, so it does not pervade, but the relationship between smoke and fire must be established only through conceptual discrimination, so the relationship between smoke and fire is not the object of direct perception of the mindstream, just like that. So, doesn't direct perception also apprehend *utpala* (青莲花) as *utpala* (青莲花) and also as blue, so doesn't it also apprehend it as such a same entity? Absolutely not, because the basis of distinction, *utpala* (青莲花) itself, is not only different from being not *utpala* (青莲花), but also different from being not blue, separating each reverse aspect, and combining the basis and the attribute into one, it is necessary to establish the same entity of *utpala* (青莲花) and blue, but in the face of the direct perception that apprehends *utpala* (青莲花), *utpala* (青莲花) and blue appear as one without distinction, not even as separate reverse aspects. This point must permeate the essence of the heart, because in the teachings of the two *geshe* (是对精通佛学的僧人的尊称) masters who clarify the doctrine, if it is the same entity, it pervades the difference, and if it is the difference, it pervades the non-existence. For the way the treatise proceeds, they have made a clear unity, and this point must be specially emphasized and offered. Because of this point, the sound that expresses the same entity itself is established on the sound that expresses the subject, and is the qualifier of the difference, but it is not the sound that expresses the dharma and the general qualifier, because it is a non-excluding otherness that does not abandon other differences, but it is not an excluding otherness that abandons other differences. In explaining these meanings, the *Abhidharmakosha* says: 'If the dharmas are different, then there is no generality.' etc., two verses, and in the commentary it says: 'Such a difference and the basis of the difference, or the sound of the same entity, like *utpala* (青莲花) itself is blue itself, does not apply to the sound of the dharma, like *utpala* (青莲花) blue, it applies to the subject.' etc.
