If, entity (Dngos po) and own-character (Don rang mtshan) are the same, then 'pervasion' (Khyab pa) is an entity. If accepted, it would lead to the fallacy of 'own-character'. If the first 'reasoning' (Rtags) is not established, then, as the 'subject' (Chos can), your 'general meaning' (Don spyi) is both the 'exclusion of others' (Gzhan sel) of entities, the 'exclusion of others' of 'existence', and the 'exclusion of others' that relies on entities. Because you are an entity. 'Pervasion' is stated in the *Treasury of Reasoning* (Rigs gter): 'The exclusion of others of entities is existent non-entity.' The *Pramanavarttika* (Rnam 'grel) states: 'For both entity and non-entity, the general meaning of the basis also has three aspects.' Thus, it is established. Furthermore, the entity that is empty of 'entity not being entity', you are the 'exclusion of others' of 'conceptual mind' (Blo) that relies on entities. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of entities, because you are the 'exclusion of others' of the 'negation' (Med dgag) of entities. If it is said that the own-character that is empty of 'own-character not being own-character', you are the 'exclusion of others' of own-character. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of the 'negation' of own-character. 'Pervasion' is real. Furthermore, the conceptual mind that is empty of 'conceptual mind not being conceptual mind', you are the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of the 'negation' of conceptual mind. 'Pervasion' is real. The 'reason' is accepted. It cannot be accepted, because you are the 'exclusion of others' of 'negation'. Furthermore, the non-entity that is empty of 'non-entity not being non-entity', you are the 'exclusion of others' of the conceptual mind that relies on non-entities. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of non-entities, because you are the 'exclusion of others' of the 'negation' of non-entities. If it is said like this, it is easy to resolve as before. Furthermore, if it is the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind, then it must be either the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind that relies on entities or the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind that relies on non-entities. Because the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind is definitely one of these two. If accepted, then the 'general meaning' of 'knowable' (Shes bya) as the 'subject' will fall into this situation. Because of that. If accepted, then that as the 'subject', you are not one of these two. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind that relies on both entities and non-entities. If it is said like this, it is not pervasive. Because the *Pramanavarttika* states: 'That as the basis-dharma, in the three cases of being definitely an entity, definitely a non-entity, and having aspects of both, relying on both entity and non-entity, the general meaning also has three aspects.' This only states three aspects, and not all basis-dharmas. From the perspective of summarizing into entity and non-entity, the 'exclusion of others' of entities and the 'exclusion of others' of non-entities have already been stated in the *Treasury of Reasoning*. Furthermore, the 'general meaning' of rabbit horns as the 'subject', you are the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind that relies on entities. Because you are the 'exclusion of others' of conceptual mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
