If the meaning of the terms 'nature of consciousness' and 'the two, object and sense consciousness,' the direct meaning of 'sense consciousness' refers to the consciousness of the senses, then as its own result, the uncommon self-condition of the sense-perceptible mental manifestation, and its similarity, both the immediately preceding condition are pervasive. Because in the meaning of the phrase 'mind holds other objects,' the direct meaning of 'other objects' refers to the object of apprehension, and in the meaning of the phrase 'sense consciousness is immediately that meaning,' the direct meaning of 'that meaning' refers to the apprehended meaning, and in the meaning of the phrase 'object and,' the direct meaning refers to the apprehended objects, etc., are the meaning of being the self-referential condition, therefore the object-condition of the sense-perceptible mental manifestation is pervasive. These are the completion of the first part of the clear explanation of the terminology of mental manifestation. Now, doubts about these will be dispelled step by step. If someone says: The sense that is the main mind, you should be mental manifestation, because you are the direct perception of mind. You are the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind, because mind and the sense faculty of mind are synonymous, so it is necessary to know the established boundaries of terminology, otherwise it is not pervasive. The first inference is: You are the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind, because you are the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind. If it is not pervasive here, then, you should be the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind, because you are the direct perception of the main mind, because you are direct perception, not the direct perception of mental factors. This is pervasive, because if it is consciousness, it must be either mind or mental factors. If the latter is not established, then it will become a mental factor. Also, you should be the direct perception of mind, because you are the valid cognition of mind, because you are not the inference of mind. The first inference is: You are the consciousness of mind, because you are not the non-valid cognition of mind. The first inference is: You are the entity of mind, because you are consciousness. If you say so, it is not pervasive here. The first inference is: You are the consciousness of mind, because you are an entity. The first inference is: You are the existence of mind, because you are mind. If you say so, then for you, the mental manifestation that is the main mind, you should be sense manifestation, because you are the direct perception of the senses. You are the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind, because you are the direct perception of the sense faculty of mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's the same! Some say: 'Because you have direct perception, it follows that you have direct perception.' This inference is pervasive. 'Because you have प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure), it follows that you have प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure).' This inference is pervasive. If it is not established, then it follows: 'You have ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge).' 'You have वस्तु (vastu, thing),' 'You have ज्ञेय (jñeya, knowable),' apply as before, because it is pervasive. If you accept, then refute with the dharma that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses as the subject. The first reason is: 'Because you are the manifest consciousness of the senses.' Because it is the subject, because it exists. Because there is a main consciousness that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses. Because the non-erroneous visual consciousness of grasping form is that. If you accept, then it follows: 'There is a manifest consciousness of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses.' The second reason is: 'Because the manifest consciousness of the senses that has become the main consciousness is that.' Even if the root is not pervasive, it is easy to understand because the above subject has already been established. If you accept, then it follows: 'There is a manifest consciousness of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses.' There is a प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure) of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses, because there is no अनुमाना (anumāna, inference) of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses. Even if the second inference of the root 'You have ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge)' is not pervasive, it represents that meaning. For the third non-pervasive case of the root, if you say that the manifest consciousness of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses is the subject, then give an affirmative answer. Then it follows: 'There is a ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge) of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses.' There is a वस्तु (vastu, thing) of the mind that has become that, Because there is no रूप (rūpa, form) of the mind that has become that, and there is no 不相应行 (viprayukta-saṃskāra, non-associated formations) of the mind that has become that.' If you say that, because it is not a contradiction of universal existence and special non-existence, it is pervasive. The fundamental reason is: 'There is a वस्तु (vastu, thing) of the mind that has become the manifest consciousness of the senses.' Because there is a 根 (indriya, sense) of the mind that has become that.' Furthermore, if it becomes a प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure) of consciousness ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge), then it follows that it must be a manifest consciousness, because it is a manifest consciousness. If it becomes a प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure) of the senses ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge), then it follows that it must be a manifest consciousness of the senses, because it is pervasive, so it is not pervasive. If you accept, even if it is not determined by अनुमाना (anumāna, inference), if it is a manifest consciousness, then the sixth consciousness ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge) must be a manifest perception that has become the manifest consciousness of the mind. If that is the case, then it follows that it must be a manifest perception that has become the sixth consciousness ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge), because it is not pervasive. If you accept, then it is not caused by the mental events that have become the manifest consciousness. Furthermore, self-awareness is the subject. Therefore, the ज्ञान (jñāna, knowledge) of the senses. And so on, the direct display of consciousness of that verse… --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
