If the dependent origination of the formless existence manifests in the continuum, it is because its dependent origination does not go beyond virtue. It is also not possible in the desire realm, because in the dying intermediate state from the desire and form realms to the formless realm, there is an unobscured and unindicated mind in the continuum. In short, in the continuum of such a dying intermediate state, there will be two virtuous minds of the desire and form realms, and two unobscured and unindicated minds of the desire and form realms, a total of four. This is what is said in the seventh chapter of 'The Obscuration'. But it is not mentioned at all that there is virtue of the formless realm in its continuum. All Tibetan scholars should carefully study this, because it seems that the similar immediate cause and the caused, and the three existences of the twelve dependent originations, namely existence, grasping, and birth, are abandoned. These are the explanations in the order of the actual teachings of the scriptures. Now, to summarize the key points of doubt in these teachings: the mind consciousness of the future, unborn dharma, is a dharma. You (the mind consciousness) and the co-emergent mental factors that are in accordance with you are ceasing, but you are acting on the present, because you are the co-emergent cause of them, and you are the co-emergent and co-ceasing cause of them. It pervades, because these two causes act on cessation. If you admit it, then you and the co-emergent mental factors that are in accordance with you exist now, which is not right. It can only be said that this statement is general and does not apply to special cases. Therefore, 'The Two Produce' also explains that the two co-emergent and co-ceasing causes produce the result, and they produce the result now, because they produce their own result at the same time as themselves. But this does not mean that the two co-emergent and co-ceasing causes necessarily produce the present result, because the corresponding factors of the past and future do not produce the present result. Therefore, admitting that the co-emergent and co-ceasing present produces the present result is the key. Furthermore, if it is the result of the maturation of contaminated karma, then it must appear outside of the contaminated karma, because 'The Maturation Treatise' states: 'Maturation is an unindicated dharma, the speech of sentient beings is unindicated, later born.' If you admit it, then the future maturation of non-virtue or contaminated virtue... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The future result of maturation, which is a dharma (chos can, thing possessing a quality), because it arises outside of future non-virtue or contaminated virtue. Because it is the result of their maturation. The pervasion (khyab pa, universal statement) is accepted, and the sign (rtags, reason) is established by the dharma. If asserted, it contradicts the acceptance that there is no before and after in the future, because there is a result of maturation that arises outside of future actions. If you think that dharma does not exist, it is not so, because it is taught in the scriptures: 'The two intermediate states (bar ma, intermediate state) are not born, there are three future results.' Because it is said that the self-fruit of future actions is the future result of maturation. Furthermore, it says, 'One is produced by the past.' When contaminated actions, which are the cause of maturation, produce the result of maturation, it is unreasonable to say that only past actions produce maturation. Because there are also future actions that produce their own result of maturation, and there are also present actions that produce their own result of maturation. The first is established because the result of maturation of future actions is the result of maturation of future actions, because it has its result of maturation, because it has its future result of maturation. The reason is the same as before. The second is established because the formation ( 'du byed, formation) dependent arising is present, and it can produce the dependent arising that produces the result of maturation. Because it can produce that, because the birth dependent arising is the formation dependent arising of its own cause and the present birth result. Also, the second moment of eye consciousness, which has just passed, should arise simultaneously with the first moment of eye consciousness. Because it either arises simultaneously with it or arises after it. It is not another possibility. The first is established because whatever is born does not arise before it. If you assert, then the second moment of eye consciousness that has just passed, the dharma, should be the self-fruit of the first moment of present eye consciousness. Because you did not arise before it, and you are different from it. The pervasion is established because it is said: 'A non-prior conditioned phenomenon is only the self-fruit of a conditioned phenomenon.' If you assert, then there is a past that has become a present result. Because you assert it. It cannot be asserted, because the past is earlier than the present. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
