The offering ceremonies for Kalachakra and other new and old tantras and commentaries were very elaborate, accumulating merit. One hundred and two butter lamps were offered daily without interruption, and each lama was offered tea, silver, silk, leopard skins, shoes, and various offerings, led by representations of their body, speech, and mind. These offerings were vast and of pure quality, pleasing their hearts. On the tenth day of the second week, a pleasant sound like thunder first arose from the southwest. In front of the residence of the great Khenchen Lama, my disciples and I performed the concluding rituals of the tenth-day gathering offering through the union of the three roots. Simultaneously, Pal Yul Yangsi Rinpoche from the temple completed the statue of the Karling Peaceful and Wrathful deities, and the relics, bone ashes, and zamatog were respectfully brought back to the private chamber. These coincidences were auspicious omens. Furthermore, offerings for the deceased and meals were offered to the great lamas and eminent spiritual friends, and appropriate recitations were arranged. Detailed lists of the expenses were made. In the regions of Ü-Tsang, including the Jokhang Temple with Jowo Shakyamuni, the three Dharma wheels, and various monasteries and practice places, thousand offerings, hundred offerings, golden libations, and extensive pujas were performed. Monastic tea and donations were offered to non-sectarian monasteries, including Tsurphu Monastery. Offerings for the deceased, the three supports, silk, gold, silver, furs, and shoes were offered to the Gyalwang Karmapa. Offerings were also made to Kyabgon Dalai Lama. In short, the virtuous activities and merit accumulation for the deceased in most of the lama monasteries in Kham, Ü, and Tsang were vast, praiseworthy, and unparalleled. A large stupa and offering pillar were built, fully conforming to the dimensions and proportions of the Bodhi Stupa. The stupa to be placed in the private chamber, the Lhabab Stupa, was more than an arrow's length tall. Both stupas were mainly made of gold and bronze, with exquisite decorations. The silver lotus seat and other silverware were very beautiful. Decorated with turquoise, dzi beads, amber, and other jewels, they were magnificent and pleasing to the eye. This was done by Dakyong Situ of Derge, the lay practitioner of Lhasas Shakya, Jig

To all races, offerings of tea, silver, silk, horses, livestock, etc., were made, and they were greatly satisfied with abundant food and drink, thus making it purely virtuous and untainted. I would be happy to inquire separately about the detailed catalog of the precious stupas. Although the detailed records of the vast amounts of wealth spent are clear, it would become a fault of boasting merit, and it is not so important, so I will not elaborate. It will be known from the power of this virtuous deed. From Lama Rinpoche Tashi, excellent gold earrings with scattered jewels were received, and from Palpung, Kathok, etc., some offerings of copper, etc., were made. The attendant of Lama Je, a woman named Ayurdharma, in order to repay the kindness, with good intention, to fulfill the Lama's wishes, offered one hundred strings of illuminating lamps each day for forty-nine days, and donated the merit money of one million recitations of the "Samantabhadra's Prayer of Good Conduct." As decorations for the great stupa, some excellent clear crystals and scattered turquoise were offered. For the vase neck of the small stupa, small necklaces and turquoise ropes were offered, etc. Apart from that, Lama Vajradhara's own offerings were not wasted in the slightest, but were completely used for this pure virtuous deed, making the faith firm and reliable, as fine as hair. Similarly, the bedroom statues and Maitreya's throne, etc., were made of gold and copper very beautifully. Furthermore, according to the idea that had long existed in the mind of Je Lama, in the charnel ground of Rimod, a very authentic artificial charnel ground, as described in the Krodhanak teaching, was constructed. On the top of the Palpung Lengzukhangsa Great Hall, a beautiful golden victory banner was erected, and standard internal decorations were made. In the all-inclusive printing hall, printing support facilities such as the five treasuries were set up, and initial, management, resolution, register, charter, etc., were established so that they could continue to function in the future. New arrangements were made in consultation with the patrons and donors of Derge, etc., all of which were in accordance with the master's ideas and were completed immediately after the above work began. In the seasonal festival of the following year, a Dharma assembly was held at the Charal Great Glorious Goddess Temple, presided over by Jamgon Tai Situ and Je Khenchen Lama, with more than fifty monks practicing the ripening empowerment and the Vajrasattva mind practice.
