噩梦的预兆稍微改变。特别是有天晚上绕着一座佛塔转，然后去了一间房子，黑暗笼罩，一位老妇人引路。她说，新年旧年交替之际，要小心内外死者的鬼魂作祟，那样才能顺利。出现了一个楼梯，爬上去从顶端看去，见到了一座人高的金塔。又一次在黑暗的房间里，阳光照耀着，见到了一尊金色的圣母像，大约一层楼高，右手拿着一个大水果。还有一次，在除夕之夜，梦见了一座铜金制成的大佛塔，等等，出现了许多好兆头。为了利益佛法，闭关修炼明妃七日，出现了殊胜的征兆。从火羊年（1967）新年开始，投入到大悲观世音菩萨恶趣自解脱的修法中。完成了长咒一百万遍。为了这些，特别努力地进行顶礼和大供养等积资。因此，夜晚的习气大多也安住在慈悲和空性的状态中。对经文产生了理解。梦中出现了很多清除罪障的迹象，等等，降临了巨大的加持。近八子的赞颂《大云八种》也是从这个时候开始写的，算是所有署名自著作品的开端。这个时候，去了地狱两次，和朋友们一起顺利地解脱了。在陡峭的山坡上，看到了前世的住所，那些景象都清晰地记在心里。见到了嘉瓦绛曲多吉和持明者才旺诺布。观世音菩萨和菩提树下，释迦牟尼佛安住。左右两边众多的花园中，出现了一位具有阿阇黎形象、光彩夺目的人，说是圣者弥勒。对他们生起了无量的信心，恭敬地顶礼。我问，未来佛成佛的时候，这棵菩提树是成佛的龙树吗？他没有指着任何树木，说，不是这棵，现在这棵杜鹃树，到时候会变成如意树，背靠着它。还有一次，圣观世音菩萨化现为年迈的父母

The bad omens of dreams changed slightly. Especially one night, after circumambulating a stupa, I went to a house where darkness prevailed, and an old woman led the way. She said that at the turn of the New Year, be careful of the harm caused by the ghosts of the dead from inside and outside, and then things will go well. A staircase appeared, and climbing it, I looked from the top and saw a golden stupa about the size of a person. Again, in a dark room, illuminated by sunlight, I saw a golden statue of the Holy Mother, about a floor high, holding a large fruit in her right hand. Also, on New Year's Eve, I dreamed of a large copper-gold stupa, and so on, many good omens appeared. In order to benefit the Dharma, I spent seven days in retreat practicing the consort, and great signs appeared. From the New Year of the Fire Sheep (1967), I engaged in the practice of the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, the Self-Liberation of the Lower Realms. I completed one hundred thousand recitations of the long mantra. For these, I made great efforts to accumulate merit through prostrations and mandala offerings, etc. Therefore, most of the nocturnal imprints also remained in the state of compassion and emptiness. Understanding arose for the scriptures. Many signs of purification of sins appeared in dreams, and so on, a great blessing descended. The praise of the Eight Close Sons, "The Eight Great Clouds," was also written from this time, and it is like the beginning of all signed self-authored works. At this time, I went to hell twice and was easily liberated with friends. On a steep mountainside, I saw the dwelling of my previous life, and those scenes were clearly remembered. I met Gyalwang Jangchub Dorje and Rigdzin Tshewang Norbu. Avalokiteśvara and Shakyamuni Buddha were dwelling under the Bodhi tree. In the midst of many gardens on the left and right, there appeared one with the appearance of an acharya, radiant, said to be the Holy Maitreya. Immeasurable faith arose in them, and I prostrated with respect. I asked, when the future Buddha attains enlightenment, is this Bodhi tree the Naga tree of enlightenment? He did not point to any tree, saying, "This is not it. This rhododendron tree will become a wish-fulfilling tree at that time, and you will lean your back against it." And again, the Holy Avalokiteśvara manifested as elderly parents.
