He concealed it within his own being. When the venerable one was fifty-seven years old, on a dawn during the waxing days of the first month of the Fire Mouse year (1936), the mantra protectress Ekajati herself manifested as a dakini of auspicious birth and presented the treasure index of this teaching, written on palm leaves in a mixture of Nagara and symbolic script, and recounted the history in detail. Thereafter, he repeatedly prayed to Orgyen Rinpoche, and on the dawn of the tenth day of a certain month, in a pure vision, in the palace of Padma's Light, Guru Rinpoche and his retinue bestowed empowerment in a manifested mandala and completely granted the essential instructions. The Karma Vajra Nyak Lotsawa Chenpo prophesied that this is the chief of the nectar of qualities teachings and that there would still be a transmission of the great blessing of the combined essence of medicine. From then on, he understood all the words and meanings contained in the treasure scroll without any obstruction, and thus, with a great miraculous display like a magical illusion, he established all the Dharma cycles and kindly liberated us fortunate ones, bestowing all the empowerments, instructions, and essential guidance. On the night of the preparation for this empowerment, which I had specially requested: The venerable lama himself went to a narrow mountain valley. He asked a person what place this was, and he said it was near Soma Buri Mountain. Then, as he went up, he came to a slightly wider plain, and the person said that was Soma Buri Mountain. The mountain was very steep, and on the very high peak, something like a white rock could be seen. Climbing up there, he arrived in a moment, saw a tall house, entered it, and passed through many stories. He thought there were still two stories above. In the high place, as if reaching into space, there was a throne, and thinking it was his, he sat there. There was someone there like the steward of a great mountain, and I wrote, 'What kind of very important sacred object is here?' He pointed to a box in the wall and said, 'The main sacred object here is this.' When asked what was inside, he said, 'Here is the unceasing flow of water from the empowerment of the four rivers that descended upon King Jaḥ (ཛཿ, Jaḥ, summoning).' Because we are in our current form, we don't dare to open that box to see what's inside. When you went there, it was like a bottomless well inside.
