If someone asks, are there any special people here like yogis, accomplished ones, treasure revealers, etc.? They would say, since there is something called "existence," of course there are such people. But just like the saying, "Most people hate what they are familiar with and always look for new things," they abandon previous Dharma and gurus, seeking new ones. Do not be like those who seek new things, nor slander others out of jealousy. Actually, accomplished ones and treasure revealers are certainly good. Nowadays, whether wise, foolish, young, or old, everyone is initially amazed by the kinds of accomplished ones and treasure revealers, praising them to the skies, and then following them, attending Dharma gatherings. If there is even a slight criticism, just like it says in the "Kadampa Precious Book," "We people will slander virtuous friends," or first say "disrespectful" or "respectful," they become narrow-minded, powerful, full of bad habits, have many things to do, have many delusions, talk too much, are unreasonable, Dharma instruments are useless, are attached, etc., or are as malicious as shutting a beggar's mouth. Since saying this has no meaning, it is better to say nothing and remain like a deaf person. Some people say this is "dependent arising," but the venerable one himself said, "The so-called dependent arising, if it can be achieved naturally, that's fine. If you try to do it on purpose, it doesn't seem like it will succeed. Look at the dependent arising during the time of Abbot Bodhisattva and Dharma King Trisong Detsen. Even the dependent arising that is achieved naturally, nowadays all disciples have exhausted their merit, wrong views are rampant, doubts are heavy, they like to form factions, vows are weakened. Just because they follow them and trust them, they only see the faults in everything the guru does. In this era, it is difficult to achieve even good dependent arising." He said this many times, and it is certainly the words of someone with realization. The venerable one himself said that the so-called dependent arising is like using divination tools from Nyaghor, drinking bad alcohol, horse racing, archery, shooting guns, hunting, singing, dancing, prophesying, spirit possession, demon possession, like being intoxicated by strong alcohol. People like us cannot measure the abilities of others, so we absolutely cannot judge good or bad. But in general, the holy ones are ashamed from the bottom of their hearts. From the time of Dharma King Trisong Detsen,

The Section of Ma Dö, Willow Branch Apart from the two groups, "Mantra Practitioners" and "Thieves," there is absolutely no third group called "Khram Chä Künyi Thieves." If someone with an unbiased mind and thoughtful consideration for both Sutra and Tantra teachings were to hear this, they would surely think, "Could that really be the case?" But what can one expect from those burdened with negative karma? Some are generally very enthusiastic about the debates and arguments of various schools of thought, especially in the disputes between Rangtong (emptiness of self) and Shentong (emptiness of other), they argue with extreme bias. However, when Je Tsongkhapa himself explained the views of each school, he used clear and accessible language without mixing in too much jargon, and he was able to reconcile different viewpoints. Generally speaking, the core that a school of thought seeks to establish is the Dharma-nature of all phenomena, which is the ultimate truth. As stated in the Prajnaparamita Sutra: "Dharma-nature is not knowable, it cannot be cognized." Moreover, even great masters like Ngok Lotsawa, who is like the crown jewel of all Tibetan intellectuals, considered that the ultimate reality is not only beyond the object of words and concepts but is not even an object of attachment. Therefore, no matter how profound the wisdom of inner observation may be, it cannot fully determine the ultimate reality. If we only measure from a certain perspective, then each term explained by the great scholars and accomplished masters has its own reasons and justifications. Therefore, one should follow one's own tradition, and if one can firmly establish the view of the guru, there is no need to be too biased. However, if one confuses terms and schools of thought, or if one does not grasp the fundamentals of one's own school and relies on the views of other schools for support, or if one mixes all the scriptural references for view, meditation, conduct, and result like a tangled rope of an evil woman, so that they cannot be supported by logical reasoning, then it shows that you do not have confidence in your own school, and you want to follow others but cannot. If seen by the wise, it will only be a cause for laughter. Therefore, it is best to establish one's own position. Some people either quote treasure prophecies or say, "So-and-so lama said," and just because they have met some people on their side or received empowerment, they praise them as "free from lower realms," even elevating them as representatives of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, which is too excessive. On the other hand, they belittle those who have obvious qualities of scholarship, discipline, and virtue because of distant relationships, which is also not right.
