Ga. He does not specially engage in seeking gain through gain, etc. He has no thoughts of subduing enemies, protecting relatives, engaging in commerce and agriculture, or currying favor with close associates, not even in his dreams. If he happens to be invited along the way, he only fulfills the expectations of others, and does not pretend to be a renunciate by saying, "I am a practitioner," overturning a pot, or placing his hand on his head, acting as if he were about to die. All the wealth he obtains is immediately used for virtuous purposes, rather than being saved for the future, and he does not waste even a small amount of it on things that are not worth showing off, out of consideration for the feelings of monks, relatives, etc. In private, he only says brief words of renunciation, such as, "I am an old monk who is about to die," and does not make long-term plans for livelihood, saying, "I will do this, I will do that." He does not put on a show of renunciation in public, making noises like someone wailing at a funeral. Towards the lamas, although he does not outwardly show excessive respect or flatter them with sweet words, in private he does not speak of their names or even titles in a derogatory way, but praises them, calling them Vajradhara Holder of the Vajra), Rinpoche, etc., expressing unimaginable reverence, and his faith in the lamas never wavers. This alone is enough to surpass the arrogant and hypocritical lamas and disciples of today, and can be considered a supreme biography. In general, because his heart is so deep, no one can guess his thoughts. But outwardly, he appears to be an idle, ordinary person, without the arrogance of a scholar, the boasting of an accomplished one, or a narrow-mindedness, but rather a humble person who gets along well with everyone, with a heart as small as the eye of a needle. In reality, during times of great upheaval, from the religious point of view, those who consider themselves to be saints, wise, and possessing supernatural powers and abilities, and from the secular point of view, those who are considered to be intelligent, talented, and cunning, like tigers and lions, all, without careful consideration, hide their true intentions and flee without looking back, or knowingly trust the enemy, abandon everything, surrender, and thus push themselves and others to the brink of destruction, like a spinning wheel of illusion, a mirage. Or they are attached to clan lineage, or ashamed.

Or is it shame? Like discarding a stone that sweeps away the karmic results of this life and the next, even when the mundane heap of falsehoods, the evil deeds of the lowest of the low, are utterly destroyed by a rain of stones, no matter how great the fear, intimidation, and ferocity, his mental strength increases even more, and not even the tip of a hair trembles. Thoughts of seeking refuge in others or fleeing elsewhere are banished even in dreams, and he remains unshaken like Mount Meru, so steadfast that no one can do anything to him. Like the sun in a cloudless sky, the splendor of his glory blazes forth. In the past, Mokton, the great protector of secrets, Jikdral Choying Dorje, in a joking manner, bestowed upon him the title of "Fearless Teacher, Accomplisher of All Purposes." Later, when he received the Bhikshu vows at Orgyen Mindroling, he was given the name "Fearless Khyentse's Play, Victorious in All Directions, Glorious and Excellent," which I think is like a prophecy with meaning manifested at this time. This shows that his ears are firm and his mind cannot be changed by anyone. Whether high or low, he always asks about the situation in a calm manner, as usual, without mixing in personal feelings. He does not speak ambiguously or use concise, difficult-to-understand language, and his speech is frank and straightforward without reservation. In particular, he tells strange and wonderful stories such as the sayings of the previous Kadam masters, the teachings of the lamas, and his own actions, with very detailed dates, sources, and reasons, and he tells many stories with the essence of Dharma. But I, a fool, only like flattery and biased words, and drunken ramblings. For these, it is like putting grass in front of a cowherd, not only useless, but some people may even find it annoying. Apart from that, he never praises himself or belittles praise. Nowadays, the core of what most lamas and officials ask is: Who is slandering me? Who is praising me? What are they saying? And so on, worrying like a thorn, he never does such things. Some inferior people
