His mind was clear and bright, and later he only wrote the first part, the lamp of history. At the age of eight, due to obstacles from evil spirits, his hands fell into a large fire pit. While experiencing intense pain, Orgyen Rinpoche, along with his consort, personally appeared and bestowed empowerment and blessings in the Vajrakila mandala. He was also granted the heart essence oral transmission of the Kila Union, and his health immediately improved. He apparently never mentioned his visions to others. Around the age of ten, he went to Dzongsar Monastery, the monastery of his ancestors, and settled there more or less permanently. Around the age of eleven, he went to Kathok Dorje Den. His uncle, Mokton Sangdak Chenpo, cared for him with great affection and gave him the name "Jigme Khyentse Drolgar." He also received a long-life empowerment from Drubwang Jangchub Chokyi Nyima, which was said to be a very auspicious omen for a complete life. From the age of twelve onwards, the power of his lineage awakened, and without any prior training, he was able to compose beautiful poetic praises and spiritual songs, the words and meanings of which were excellent, captivating even scholars and accomplished beings. It seemed that if he had studied at that time, he would surely have become an unparalleled great scholar in the snowy lands. However, due to the passing of his father, Drung Chenpa, and other reasons, he was unable to continue his studies and was delayed for several years. In particular, at the age of sixteen, after receiving the blessings of the teacher Jampal Shenyen, pure visions arose, and from then on, he understood the meaning of every word in a text simply by looking at it once. For example, after reading a biography of a lama once, he could explain all of its contents completely and without confusion the next day, and he could even know without error where a particular word was located on the front or back line of that page. The waves of his wisdom were truly beyond imagination. It is said that, according to the prophecy, if he were to go in the direction of the white snow mountains, there would be a dakini who was an emanation of Yeshe Tsogyal in front of Bam Lha, who would become his friend and extract thirteen treasures in succession. He will establish a monastery in the border area between U and Tsang, which will become a source for the propagation of the Great Secret Vajrayana.
