Although there are many classifications, they can be summarized into four types: Hot Lang, Cold Lang, Worm Lang, and Inflammatory Lang. Whichever it is, if there is pain below the xiphoid process, it is Stomach Lang; if there is pain below the navel, it is Intestinal Lang; if there is pain around the navel, it is Colon Lang, of which the right side is Blood Lang, the left side is Worm Lang, and the middle is called "Tsampa Lang." The cause is heat, and the body feels tired quickly, it is Hot Lang. The cause is cold, and there is no fatigue, it is Cold Lang. Caused by sweets, etc., forming lumps or fever and a feeling of perforation, it is Worm Lang, which will feel very tired. If it is unbearable to stand, it is Worm Lang. Pain in the stomach or intestines as if stirred by a knife, etc., is Inflammatory Lang. Beneficial for all Langtha diseases is "Kunjong," and Twenty-Five Pills are also effective. For Hot Lang, fumigate with asafoetida and poison, and if liquid flows out, use Moonstone, Six-Flavor or Fourteen-Flavor Asafoetida. For Cold Lang, use Fifteen Strong Compound, Thirteen Turquoise Bells, Six Tranquilizers, Six Salt Tea Soup, and Four Pills with Acorus Calamus are effective. If ineffective, cauterize three points on the painful area of the stomach or intestines, or three finger-widths down from the xiphoid process. For Worm Lang, first take water with brown sugar boiled in it to kill the worms. Then take "Immortal Worm Remover," which is equal amounts of Amla and Vidanga, and two general medicines. Measure one finger-width from the left side of the navel to the "Ter" of the colon, and then measure one finger-width to the "Lungphuk" of the colon, and cauterize these two points. By the way, for Blood Lang, take two general medicines, Fourteen-Flavor Asafoetida, and Nine-Flavor Rock Melt. Pierce the right colon vein. For Tsampa Lang, take general medicines, and cauterize the upper part of the intestine at three points one finger-width below the navel, and cauterize the lower part of the intestine at three points one finger-width below it. For Inflammatory Lang, use the black medicine compound of the Lhalung school, in which the black ingredients are in a higher proportion, and the other four ash medicines are in equal proportions, taking a small amount each time. Mix the four stomach medicines together, make pills with cow urine and red clay, which can be taken for a long time. There are also Small Rock Pill, Small Bone Pill, "Kunjong," "Immortal Worm Remover," and Ten "Jyerong Gyalön".
