If it reverses upwards, it can cause diphtheria and upper body pain; if it reverses downwards, it can turn into dysentery, which is difficult to treat. If it reverses to these areas, treat according to the respective treatments. If it does not reverse, after thirteen days, use bone broth and other foods to relieve it. If the various main medicines are not complete, for both measles and Sib, first use a decoction of Seven Jewel Soup with Gugul added to ripen them. In actual treatment, do not use Twenty-Nine Black Mica, or Thirty-Two Medicines with secret medicines added. Even just Twenty-Five Camphor can seem to alleviate the swelling. ༈. For diphtheria where heat disease has descended onto the tongue, use the All-Accomplishing Medicine for Diphtheria from 'Medical Principles'. Nine Victorious Medicines, the eighth and ninth purgatives, the fourth Shudag, Five Garuda Medicines, and the main Garuda medicines are all very effective. For diphtheria and swelling, mantras are more effective than medicine, so here, too, it is effective to hold cotton wrapped in red wolfsbane in the mouth after reciting mantras. If that doesn't work, cauterize the crown of the head, the demon gate of the nape of the neck, the meeting place of the Matshogma, the left and right between the eyebrows, the Adam's apple, and the tips of the two small points. If that still doesn't subside, use Thirteen Powerful Medicines and Sroma Tari or any suitable purgative and emetic. It is sufficient to use only a laxative without cauterization. ༈. For swelling caused by heat poison invading the muscles, first administer a decoction of juniper bark. Apply three white medicines around the edges. Mix Five Garuda Medicines with Vata. Eliminate with Great Red Vajra Balam. You can also use Blue Nanzan, Three Flowers, and other medicines individually. Administer oil pills of small Bau or Tiger Sesame, and one will feel better upon waking up after sleeping. If it is still unbearable, use a black dog for suction. Even just one Vata is very effective. The All-Accomplishing Medicine for Diphtheria and Nine Detoxifying Medicines, as well as the main Garuda medicines, are also effective. For diphtheria and swelling, apply Lekyi to the end of the swelling. For general swelling, this will cure it, but for stubborn swelling, after using house medicines and ghee for three days, apply three sweet medicines to the center of the swelling.

If the condition is slightly heavier, administer Fourteen Heroes or Fifteen Cooling Essences, Cloudless Moonlight, etc. If there is a lot of nasal mucus and the throat is hot, dissolve one dose of *mal pi pi ling* in yogurt and drink it to relieve it.
