Of the twelve hands, the right six hold a vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།,वज्र,vajra, thunderbolt), a bell (དྲིལ་བུ།,घण्टा,ghaṇṭā,bell), a sword (རལ་གྲི།,खड्ग,khaḍga,sword), a trident (ཏྲི་ཤཱུ་ལ།,त्रिशूल,triśūla,trident), an arrow (མདའ།,बाण,bāṇa,arrow), and a potter's wheel (རྫ་མཁན་གྱི་འཁོར་ལོ།,कुलालचक्र,kulālacakra, potter's wheel). The left side is red, with a wrathful expression and bared fangs. All three possess three eyes. The hair is yellowish-white and spirals upward. Of the eight hands, the first of the right four makes the gesture of fearlessness and generosity, a vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།,वज्र,vajra, thunderbolt), an iron lock marked with a vajra, and an arrow (མདའ།,बाण,bāṇa,arrow). The left four hold a skull cup filled with blood, a threatening gesture, a noose (ཞགས་པ།,पाश,pāśa,noose), and a bow (གཞུ།,धनु,dhanu, bow). The upper body is covered with a leopard skin, and the lower body is wrapped. Abiding on a lotus and sun cushion in a playful posture. This is the fifteen deities of the Subduer according to the tradition of Javari and Jayavarma, and the former of the nineteen deities according to the tradition of Mikaj Dorje, whose empowerment lineage resides in the Drukpa Kagyu school. 16. Secondly, in the tantras that equally employ outer activities and inner yoga, it appears that only the Abhisamayalankara has established an independent lineage of rituals and empowerments in this region, without much further development. The main deity of the great mandala of the Abhisamayalankara, with one hundred and twenty-two deities, together with the two signs, is Vairochana, with a white body color. The hair is piled high, and the head is adorned with ornaments, wearing silk upper and lower garments, etc., with the attire of a Chakravartin. The two hands are in the gesture of meditation. The feet are in the vajra posture, seated on a lotus cushion with flourishing stems and leaves, and all the spaces between the petals are filled with vajras, emitting rays of light like the color of gold. In front, on a white lotus, is a pale ash-colored dharmodaya, marked with a five-pronged vajra, from which light emanates from the two corners. The surroundings are light.
