From the realm of limitless consciousness, the armies of the demons of the aggregates. I, the mantra holder, invite you, please come here immediately for a moment. Please reside in this, your own form. JAḤ HŪṂ BAṂ HOḤ, merge indivisibly. Alas! The Lord of Death demon is black, performing the actions of sentient beings' death. From the realm of limitless space, the assembly of the black demons of the Lord of Death. Together with armies and attendants. I, the mantra holder, invite you, please come here immediately for a moment. Please reside in this, your own form. JAḤ HŪṂ BAṂ HOḤ, merge indivisibly. The third is to request residence. The four demons and the armies of demons. In order to eliminate the four demons of the patrons, reside for the sake of offering and praise. Today, for these patrons, please accept this excellent offering. Please transform the disturbances of the four demons. The fourth is the actual repulsion of demons. Generally, according to the meaning of the scriptures, when the four assemblies of monks gather, when the master consecrates with three grains and Sambhara, the other three monks recite the Heart Sutra and the Repulsion Sutra three times each, which becomes nine repulsions. Ultimately, the request is the duty of the master, but according to current practice, no matter how many masters there are, all the recitations are done together. First, starting from the head of the eastern row, place a demon offering, one kha, one dog, one jug of beer, one small piece of tsampa, one piece of meat, tsampa beer, etc. in a tray, sprinkle various grains, and moisten with clean water. Recite the heart mantra three times and various heart mantras. Offer this sacrificial torma, endowed with the five desirable qualities of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, to the hosts of the sons of gods and demons. May inexhaustible enjoyments arise in accordance with each one's thoughts. May all be pleased and satisfied, and may all the harms of the four demons be transformed. Thus, accompanied by music, place the effigies arranged in the mandala, facing outwards on the black butter base. Join palms and pay homage to the Lama. Homage to the Buddha. Homage to the Dharma. Homage to the Sangha. Homage to the Great Mother Prajnaparamita. Just as Indra, the lord of the gods, formerly contemplated the profound meaning of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita, and recited the words, relying on its power and ability, and repelled evil demons, so too. (Etc.) Clap hands as usual. "Method and protection and purification, and the Great Vehicle that certainly leads to liberation, for sentient beings who are greatly deluded, may the works of demons be repelled." Add this. That completes one round. Repeat this, arranging each of the seven effigy offerings for the eastern direction until they are all complete, and performing each one completely from blessing to repulsion, as just described. The effigy offerings are also arranged in order according to their respective directions. Again, the special repulsion and reversal is: the above is the same, and I also rely on the power and ability of contemplating the profound meaning of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita and reciting the words. If there is a patient, say the name, 'named so-and-so.' All the demons and obstacles that first lead to disease, in the middle build nests of demons, and finally are of no benefit to the disease, may all of them be repelled by this Prajnaparamita heart sutra exorcism, and by the truth of the command of the Noble Three Jewels, may they now be repelled, pacified, completely pacified. Say this, and: "May as many sentient beings as are sick, quickly be freed from illness. May all the diseases of beings, never occur again." Say this. For drought omens, relying on power and ability, bad omens of the day, bad dreams of the night, especially this drought omen.
