Repelling curses can also reverse them, becoming the supreme protection. To avert harm from demons and obstacles, practice Lokeshvara. To repel evil spirits, practice the Fiery Wheel. To repel curses and all kinds of evils, practice the Lion-Faced Mother, deeply, adapting the practice to the circumstances. To avert bad dreams, upon waking, immediately turn face down and meditate on the Lion-Faced Mother, reciting the fourteen-syllable mantra and: "Om Muram Muram Thum Thum Dream Thum Svaha" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མུ་རཾ་མུ་རཾ་ཐུམ་ཐུམ་རྨི་ལམ་ཐུམ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ muraṃ muraṃ thum thum mīlam thum svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Muram, Muram, Thum, Thum, Dream, Thum, Svaha), reciting it a hundred or twenty-one times. Make the right hand a moon and the left hand a sun, clap them together, and think that the harm is destroyed. Reverse and transform the current bad dream onto the enemy demon who sent it, clapping three times. Alternatively, the meditation and recitation of the supremely beneficial Fiery Crown is: Visualize yourself as the Fiery Crown, red-yellow and wrathful. In the right hand, hold a sword; in the left hand, make a threatening gesture. A wheel of fire with eight spokes spins fiercely. With three eyes glaring and teeth bared, the hair blazes red-yellow. Wearing a tiger skin skirt, with the left leg extended, reside on a lotus and sun disc in a heroic posture. Flames blaze from the body, burning all harm-doers. Namaḥ Samanta Buddhanam Apratihata Shasanam. oṃ kha kha khāhi khāhi hūṃ hūṃ jvala jvala prajvala prajvala tiṣṭha tiṣṭha phaṭ phaṭ sarva durnimitta ura sbapnaṃ śāntaṃ kuru svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage! Om, Kha Kha, Khahi, Khahi, Hum Hum, Jvala, Jvala, Prajvala, Prajvala, Tistha, Tistha, Phat, Phat, All bad omens, chest, sleep, peaceful, make, Svaha), reciting this will avert all bad omens. Furthermore, to pacify illness and suffering, especially bad dreams, the Four and a Half Syllable Avalokiteshvara mantra, which is particularly praised and becomes the supreme means of accomplishing longevity, is as follows: Precede it with refuge, bodhicitta, and meditation on emptiness. In front of oneself, in an instant, visualize Avalokiteshvara, with a white body and wearing blue robes. The right hand is in the gesture of granting refuge, and the left hand holds a white lotus. He has the appearance of a celibate practitioner, with a topknot of hair. On the moon disc at his heart, visualize a rosary of mantras. With great devotion, recite: "Om Aro Lik" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་རོ་ལིཀྲ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ aro liktra, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Aro Lik) once, and then recite "Aro Lik" one hundred and eight times. In this way, lead with the mantra containing Om, and recite the other mantras hundreds of times as much as possible. Finally, pray intensely to purify my sins and obscurations and to pacify obstacles. After praying, it dissolves into light and merges into oneself, purifying the body of karmic maturation and transforming it into the deity body of the nature of light. Moreover, purify without attachment.

Rest a little while in equanimity. Dedicate the merit. In general, to clear away obstacles to practicing the sacred Dharma, and in particular, to overcome obstacles or subdue spirits in order to achieve the supreme through the Vajrayana path, there is nothing more excellent than Vajrakilaya, for all the new and old traditions. Therefore, at dusk, practice the visualization and recitation of the New Treasure Secret Essence Vajrakilaya without interruption. Also, practice the profound combined Guru Kilaya and the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) practice. Especially, the profound continuous practice mentioned in the New Treasure Mind Practice Great Demon Subduer should be done as yoga. Also, at dusk, after practicing Guru Yoga, from the body of the Guru, radiate Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Raṃ), and all directions above, below, and in between, fiercely rotate a wheel of fire with a thousand spokes, cutting and burning all harm-doers into pieces. In the center of the inner and outer blazing fire of wisdom, transform yourself into Vajrasattva equal to space, and visualize inviting the Guru on your crown into your heart. This is the supreme method of protecting against all obstacles and hindrances. Eleventh, the yoga of altruistic activity is: In general, the main aspect of altruism is to train the mind in bodhicitta in every way, but here it is mentioned as a necessary branch. If the visualization and recitation of Akshobhya is pleasing, take refuge and generate bodhicitta. In your own heart, above the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) on a moon disc, a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) with rays of light, purify the body, and all sins and obscurations are purified. Your own mind is the Bhagavan Akshobhya, with a blue body adorned with marks and signs. The two hands, the right hand in the earth-touching mudra, and the left hand in the meditation mudra holding a vajra. Wearing the three Dharma robes, possessing light and radiance. On a precious throne supported by elephants, on a lotus and moon cushion, sit with legs in the vajra posture. Above the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) on the moon disc in your heart, the light invites the wisdom being, and it abides in the sky in front of you. Mentally offer, prostrate, and pray. Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हूँ वं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ) are inseparable, and the three syllables are established in the three places. From the mantra garland circling around the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), light radiates, and all beings' obscurations are purified. After reciting the Kīṃkāra, preceded by Namo Bhagavate Akshobhyāya, etc., as much as possible, all beings' obscurations are purified, and all become Akshobhya. The light dissolves into yourself.
