If you focus on the key points without any laziness or hesitation, the inconceivable reality will be realized with minimal effort. Such practices are numerous in Tibet, both profound and not so profound, but the Six-Branched Vajra Yoga associated with the King of Tantras, the Kalachakra, is the supreme Dharma, unsurpassed by any other. It is the most excellent and essential of all the teachings, like the crest jewel of a victory banner. It is distinguished by four aspects: the source of the tantric scriptures, the commentary on the Ten Bhumis Sutra, the profound differences in the oral instructions, and the power of blessings. Therefore, even if you search throughout the three thousand worlds, you will not find a better instruction for meditation than this. So, even if ordinary individuals elaborately arrange newly created objects of focus and divisions with their own conceptual thoughts, it is merely accepting the black Dharma that deceives sentient beings and the root downfalls that are outside the teachings of the Sugatas, and there is no benefit whatsoever. Even if one only generates a little of the Three Solitudes and the Gathering Mudra, it makes obtaining a human body meaningful and makes encountering the Vajrayana fruitful. Although one pretends to engage in the vast Sutras and Tantras, if one sets aside the profound meaning of the Sutras and Tantras and strives for the accumulation of merit that is commonly taught to worldly people, it is wonderful compared to not remembering virtue at all, but it is of no great importance to a yogi. Relying on solitary places, closing off external distractions, dividing into four sessions, but if the body and mind cannot be subdued into solitude and are carried away by necessary distractions, then just like the former Jo-Zang, the time for genuine virtuous practice to arise in the mindstream will not come. If the mind is solitary due to illusory thoughts, that is the best of solitude. This clinging to the apprehended and the apprehender, if awareness catches it, it will be self-liberated. Therefore, do not bind the naturally occurring nature with knots of affirmation, negation, hope, and doubt, but leave the mind in the unchanging state of awareness, let go of the mind without fabrication, and whatever arises, release it without attachment. Then, whatever appears will be liberated into the nature of reality. Except for the times when one falls into distraction due to the weakness of habituation, the rest is solely equipoise. Therefore, for those who are inclined towards the mind, this is the meaning of all instructions.

It is solely about focusing on awareness itself. Therefore, the actual practice of those ancient and unerring lineages lies in: engraving impermanence in the heart, generating genuine renunciation, cherishing the law of cause and effect as life itself, widening the eyes of pure perception, and establishing devotion as the foundation. Regardless of the length or frequency of sessions, one should not overly emphasize the details of visualization, rational analysis, or the number of recitations. For beginners, it is sufficient to focus solely on the posture of the body and the effort of holding the mind. Relax the body and mind, reduce activities, avoid being distracted by delusions, let the unfabricated awareness naturally flow, and the clarity of luminosity will naturally increase. The practice of meditative equipoise can be carried into post-meditation, and it can be applied to sleep and the bardo state. This is the main point. There is no need to say more. The practice of this Dharma depends entirely on oneself and does not require reliance on whether external favorable conditions are complete. However, until one has gained stable practice, being distracted by various elaborations of the three doors (body, speech, and mind) is the greatest obstacle to entering the Dharma. Therefore, in a place where awareness is clear and virtuous deeds increase, based on devotion and an undistracted environment, just as planting a seed in moist and warm soil, there is no doubt that it will sprout and grow rapidly like a seedling. If one associates with people who do not remember death, one will be involuntarily drawn into worldly affairs and unconsciously generate non-Dharmic thoughts and actions. Therefore, do not follow others blindly, but decide one's own actions and be able to use one's own wisdom independently. Although there is no Buddhist who would say that the Buddha's teachings are false, if one does not generate faith in the Buddha's teachings and the Guru's instructions, and if one is skeptical of most profound views and behaviors, thereby hindering practice, even if one pretends to practice, there will be no time for accomplishment. This is not the fault of the Dharma, but the fault of the practitioner. Therefore, one should practice with unwavering faith in the Dharma and instructions. As long as one has the ability, just as a potter focuses on making pottery and ultimately realizes the true nature, liberation is realized regardless of the amount of words. Therefore, one must have unwavering conviction in the profound path.
