It is good to write on wax when some certainty has arisen. From the kind Karma Delek Yeshe Zangpo: A concise exhortation on the Torma ritual of the three deities, Ma, Za, and Dam, and whether external Tormas are effective if one practices. I offer this as it arose spontaneously. May the name of Lord Padmasambhava bless us. Oh, venerable elder Lama with boundless kindness, because one's own mind is not grasped, the appearances of samsara and nirvana arise, without any distinction between what should be abandoned and what should be accepted. Because the mind appears in various ways, various things exist. Unable to subdue one's own mind, anger arises, and one ascribes one's own radiance to Dharma protectors. If one knows one's own nature, there is no need to make offerings. To whom and with what can one offer externally? The self-awareness that is without gathering and scattering, in the obscuration of recognizing one's own nature without interruption, when the clarity of one's own mind arises, grasping at external objects, one labels them as gods and demons. Without realizing oneself, one imputes what is not as what is, and rejects what is as what is not. Possessing the nature of non-movement and movement, in the midst of unawakened conceptual thoughts, without knowing the Dharmakaya as it is, one says one will achieve Buddhahood later. The non-dual wisdom that is primordially liberated, one forcefully suppresses with dualistic thoughts to meditate. Chasing after conceptual thoughts with conceptual thoughts, one says one will meditate on the state of being beyond extremes. Alas, is it not very strange? If there is something to see, it is mind-made; if there is something to meditate on, it is delusion; if certainty arises, it is self-grasping, and that is the root of suffering. In the state of being that is nothing at all, is it not seeing what has not been seen? When distracted, one is an ordinary person, and when meditating, one is not a great meditator. The uncorrected mind, because it is primordially free from all elaboration, is liberated simply by recognizing it. Although it appears in various ways, its essence is emptiness. That is the key point that the mind is emptiness. Although it does not exist, everything arises without interruption. That is the key point that emptiness is dependent arising. In the illusion of no birth, it is called sentient beings. In the liberation of no cessation, it is called Buddha. In taking the non-duality into the path, it is called a yogi. Ah-jang, it's just a joke. Within the joke, there is rambling. Within the rambling, there is ultimate meaning. Whether I understand these things is uncertain, but it is due to the kindness of the Lama.

A little to the east. Does it seem like just the beginning of a direction? Come to the music that brings joy to the heart! By seeing the truth of the Dharma, may the delusion of the eight worldly dharmas be completely pacified. O Lord Padma Nyinchey, the blessed one, pacify this wave of the eight worldly dharmas in my mind. Because the wild demon of self-grasping has not been tamed, even if one puts one's own desires first, with the intellect of wanting to be wise and accomplished, and many fine clothes and ornaments, and the gentleness of thorns wrapped in silk, etc., under the guise of fame and benefiting others, the methods of collecting improper offerings are something even a beggar like me cannot do. Even if one holds the banner of a monk, may one not become the chief destroyer of the teachings, I sincerely make this prayer. If one does not cut off the path to liberation oneself, if even a little wisdom in accordance with the Dharma arises, even if one dies of starvation, one's wishes will be fulfilled. Except for the great beings who are emanations, the benefit of others by ordinary people only leads to self and others both नुकसान. The benefit of others when one is not mature is like the rain that is exhausted at the end of summer, beautiful for a while but ultimately meaningless. Dharma teachings that are not within are like the six-syllable mantra (oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus born from my heart) in the mouth of a parrot, spoken to others but not to oneself. Ornaments without qualities are like a rainbow that has recently mixed, beautiful to the eye but without essence. Talk without experience is like a sick person reading a prescription, satisfying when heard but useless when needed. Great lamas with many possessions, the great practice of the eight worldly dharmas arises forcefully, the necessary realization vanishes like a rainbow. Some hermits pretend to be detached and without activity, growing old wasting their lives, entrusting the practice of meditation to the wind. Some scholars engage in much debate, sowing the seeds of attachment and aversion meaninglessly, the biased ones are thrown into the abyss of the lower realms. Some abandon the burden of debate, fools who do not distinguish between good and bad, taking the Dharma like grass without discrimination. Some great ones are very biased, giving their followers the punishment of abandoning the Dharma, raising the phenomena of sight and hearing as enemies. Some say they are without bias, taking refuge in non-dogs and pigs, obtaining the accomplishment of removing obstacles and vows. Some spend their lives in study and contemplation, engaging in lectures and writings that belittle others and are arrogant, placing all those involved on the path of self and others both नुकसान. Some abide in reality
