Become. In the mandala of body, speech, and mind, The multitude of four great and eight small accomplishments, The life force of Mahamudra is accomplished. Awakening arises without any confusion, Skilled in gathering the power of Bodhicitta, There is nothing that is not accomplished in benefiting others. The accumulation of the two accumulations is profound, Enjoyment is without incompleteness. One understanding liberates all, wisdom is vast, Great prophecies are without fail. In the lineage of the son of a wealth-accumulating father, The great nature of wealth is the karma of previous lives. The white-haired mother Garuda's chicks, The perfection of ability is the power of lineage. To the followers of the Kagyu accomplished lineage, The nature of meditation arises with the power of blessings. The accumulation of many years of suffering, And the arrogance of sitting idly, And the greed made by stubborn suffering, And the boasting of killing others, Counting selfish and self-centered thoughts, And valuing the realization of the stages of the path, etc., These are the characteristics of foolish meditation in the degenerate age. Although not possessing the name of an accomplished one, Yet with the instructions of an exemplary and excellent lineage, Seeing the wisdom of Mahamudra. The basis of Mahamudra understands the reality of seeing, The path of Mahamudra experiences meditation, The fruit of Mahamudra realizes enlightenment in the heart. Although I am bad, the Lama is good, Although born in the degenerate age, I have great fortune, Although the heart is small, the instructions are profound. The so-called basis of Mahamudra, There are two: reality and delusion. Not falling into the extremes of samsara and nirvana, Free from the extremes of addition and subtraction. Not born from cause, not changed by condition, Not becoming bad by delusion, Not becoming good by realization, Never deluded, never liberated, Essence is not established in anything, Therefore, appearances arise unimpeded and spontaneously, Like the sky, pervading all of samsara and nirvana. It is the basis of all delusion and liberation, Self-luminous awareness Is that which can appear, Together with the consciousness of the Alaya, The part of the unindicated awareness, Essence is empty and nature is clear, Possessing the essence of undifferentiated awareness, The space element without anything to grasp, The stainless jewel of pure crystal, The radiance of the self-knowing, self-luminous lamp, The experience of the unspeakable mute, The unobstructed wisdom is thorough, The clear light Dharmakaya, the Tathagatagarbha, Primordially pure, spontaneously accomplished.

The earth cannot symbolize it, nor can any words express it. The Dharmadhatu, which the mind cannot fathom, is inherently free from the very beginning. All false discriminations should be cut off. Cultivating meditation from the perspective of view is like an eagle soaring through the sky, without fear or anxiety in any situation. Meditation without view is like a blind person wandering in a wilderness, not knowing whether the path is correct, without a goal. View without meditation is like a wealthy person bound by stinginess, unable to produce fruits that benefit oneself and others. Practicing union is the way of the holy ones. This is the part of ignorance that has not been prophesied. Because of five reasons, one does not recognize one's own nature. From the ocean of co-emergent ignorance, the waves of delusion of self-grasping arise. Awareness is the self, and self-appearance is the object. From the solidification of the habits of grasping and being grasped, karma is accumulated, and from this, the ripening result arises. Samsara revolves like a waterwheel. Although it constantly flows, its nature is without defilement. From the moment of appearance, it is empty of truth. Even mere appearance is the clear radiance of the three bodies. The nature of arising is non-arising. That which is unborn has no cessation. In between the two, there is no place to dwell. From the mind-essence that is difficult to express, various magical displays of samsara and nirvana arise. Knowing self-liberation is the best of views. If one realizes it, everything is as it is. Without acceptance or rejection is the original nature. Transcending the mind is the ultimate meaning. When we say the path of Mahamudra, mind-essence and phenomena are the great seal. Mind and co-emergence are the Dharmakaya. Co-emergent appearance is the light of the Dharmakaya. If one has the blessings of the glorious lama and one's own karmic connections are complete, one recognizes one's own nature as if meeting an old acquaintance. There is no need for many explanations. For the beginner, the most important thing is to abandon the thoughts of the past and future. In the present moment of awareness, without fabrication, abide in the original nature. There is not even a speck of meditation to be done intentionally by the mind. Without losing a moment to distraction and delusion, non-distraction, non-meditation, and non-fabrication are the key points. Relax naturally and clearly. In the sky of the three gates of liberation, set up the sentry posts of mindfulness and awareness well. By constantly guarding the mind with moderate tension and relaxation, the subtle, coarse, and vast thoughts subside. The mind is not altered, and it abides in its natural state. The experiences of the four stages arise in sequence. The sun of clear light appears all around. This is Mahamudra meditation.
