One's own face has never been pointed out by anyone, If one does not know who the root guru is, If one can pray to the one prophesied by the Victorious Ones as the Lord of Mahamudra, And the future lineage holder, You have promised to generate realization, Then hold the unequaled Dagpo as the root guru, Meditate on the gurus with whom you have a connection as inseparable, With four kinds of conduct, do not forget, and maintain stable mindfulness, From the depths of your heart, obtain fervent prayers, Mingle your mind and cultivate the unadulterated nature. Apart from the beings to be tamed, according to how they should be tamed, All Buddhas are undifferentiated in the Dharmakaya, Therefore, by accomplishing one deity, all are accomplished. With a mind of abandoning and adopting, abandon the dualistic grasping that one is better than the other, If you accomplish everything, not even one will be accomplished, Therefore, steadfastly meditate on one yidam deity. You have received a great number of empowerments and transmissions, Many mandalas of connected deities, Thinking this is also good, you gather various essential points, If there is no certainty about which yidam to practice, Then, the deity for Tibetans is the noble Avalokiteśvara, The Dharma is the secret mantra of six syllables, There is no Dharma more beneficial than this deity and mantra, Which has not been spoken by all the Buddhas of the three times. If we Tibetans practice, it is very easy to accomplish, Too many thoughts are also the cause of discouragement, Diligently practice this one deity and one mantra. Abandon happiness and take on suffering, And take unborn vajra recitation as your companion. Refuge and bodhicitta are the preliminaries of the Dharma, Devotion and compassion are the heart of the Dharma, Generation stage, completion stage, and union are the life force of all Dharmas, Dedication and aspiration are the conclusion of the Dharma. Until the thoughts of sentient beings are exhausted, The limits of the Dharma will not be exhausted. Since there is no way to grasp all of these, Therefore, realize one's own mind, and know the nature of all of these, Therefore, strive to realize one and liberate all. This is also to fulfill the wishes of Guru Bhaishajya In the solitary place of Palpung (དཔལ་སྤུངས,Palpung,地名), By a person sent to you by an incapable action, The ocean of qualities wrote based on himself. May the kingdom accomplished by virtue be attained! I take refuge in the all-knowing Padmasambhava of the three times, and The Padma Nyingje Wang, who is one with the sphere of reality, Grant blessings to the son in whom I have faith. Homage to the living, aged vidyadhara! Do not wander in samsara because you do not understand the Dharma.

. Having not taken it into our hands, we are deceived. Always wanting something high and profound, Without dedicated effort in what we hear, It is a sign that the mind remains ordinary. Those verses that claim to be instructions but are incomplete in the Sutras, Tantras, and Shastras, There is nothing of value in those new teachings. But a single word from the Buddha's teachings and the realized masters, A single word of blessing, Can untie many knots of doubt. Many beautifully arranged books by ordinary people, Cannot compare. If it aligns with the Buddha's words, it is Dharma. If it aligns with the scriptures, it is experience. If it resolves doubts, it is realization. If it abandons arrogance, it is a monk. If it is continuous, it is a yogi. Although there are many who know how to talk about Dharma, The mind mixed with Dharma is like a star in the daytime. It is because the mind is too rigid. It is because death is not remembered in the mind. Not understanding that death is uncertain, Bearing the name of a Dharma practitioner, yet clinging to the eight worldly concerns, Unable to separate even for a moment, Such as I, whose actions are like an anthill, Piercing and creating wounds in the teachings. Although I have repented hundreds of thousands of times, due to the power of karma, Not being self-controlled, Day and night, I turn the wheel of non-Dharma. The nature of cause and effect is infallible, When I remember that I will experience it myself, Why doesn't my heart tremble? Like the dewdrop on the tip of a blade of grass, The slightest wealth, Unable to bear to part with, this precious human body with leisure and opportunity, More precious than a wish-fulfilling jewel, Wasted by non-Dharma thoughts and actions, Like me. Now it pervades all lands. Seeing this, the path to higher realms and liberation, Seems to have become just a name, I feel great sadness. What do you, the powerful yogis, think? However, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, With skillful means, benefit beings, Taking on various forms to show the way, And abiding in inner yoga, etc. Except for those who possess the eye of wisdom, No matter how good the speculations of ordinary people are, They cannot fathom the mind. Therefore, pure perception is the essence of Dharma. Fearing the loss of the autonomy of one's own tradition, Speaking highly of oneself in one's own position, Although many point out the faults of others, If we do not diligently cultivate our own tradition, Then, knowingly, we should not obscure the path to liberation, We should expand the scope of pure perception. Pure perception is understood by those who are impartial.
