All these are said as a means to tame one's own mind. All gods and demons are nothing but the magical displays of one's own mind. All the differences of samsara and nirvana lie in whether or not one realizes one's own mind. All faults are illusions of one's own mind. All qualities are present in the natural state of one's own mind. In short, there is no Buddha apart from realizing the nature of one's own mind. May the primordial, co-emergent wisdom of reality, which has been attained in the heart streams of all the lineage masters from Vajradhara to the root guru Pema Nyinje (པདྨ་ཉིན་བྱེད།), be transferred to the heart of you, the fortunate one, and may you become the supreme guide who liberates all beings pervading the sky. Aho! The practitioner named "Infinite Wisdom" is the third incarnation. Although his behavior does not conform to worldly ways and seems random, Pema Nyinje (པདྨ་ཡི་ཉིན་བྱེད།) is regarded as an emanation of the Buddha. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, he served thirty qualified gurus and obtained the treasure of maturation and liberation. Although he closes his eyes and sheds tears, appearing useless, his devotion to the guru is like carvings on stone, never changing. He will surely obtain the inheritance of the jewel of accomplishment. The guru is without error, a treasure of lineage blessings. The view is without error, the definitive Madhyamaka. The practice is without error, the pinnacle of Mahamudra and Dzogchen. The conduct is without error, following the sutras and tantras. The result is without error, one will surely attain effortless spontaneous accomplishment. If one were to measure his qualities of abandonment and realization, they would be as rare as a rabbit's horn. The nature of his wisdom, compassion, and power is as illusory as the son of a barren woman. Someone like me has no hope of benefiting others, but I have made a prayer that is meaningful to those who connect with it. May my meaningless words become true. Although I do not have altruistic activities that roar like thunder, all my thoughts and actions are dedicated to benefiting others. If I do not stray from the path of enlightenment, then the interdependent connection of accomplishing the two benefits will surely be realized. I do not have the ornaments of fame, such as clairvoyance and siddhis, nor the cleverness to please ordinary people. But because I embrace the child of self-arisen wisdom as a friend, I have no doubt that I will see the co-emergent face. Are the footprints of the accomplished Kagyu lineage not long? Therefore, if you take the profound near path as the essence,

The ordinary consciousness free from concepts is the nature of Dharmakaya. Having forced the self-tradition awareness into a narrow path, Without hesitation or alternation, cultivate it with single-mindedness, May you become an accomplished one who is embraced by the womb of reality! After boasting about the original tenets of inseparable youth and calf, I pray to be an auspicious connection for fulfilling the wishes of the lama. Thus, Yonten Gyatso spoke at Pelpung Hermitage at the urging of Lama Odro, who made practice the essence. May it benefit others! Kagyu lineage holder, at the feet of Jetsun Pema, I pray, guide the path to liberation! Although everyone knows they will die, Not knowing when they will die, the key is not hit, Whatever is done becomes the cause of samsara and the lower realms. White hairs grow on the head, yet one is still engaged in worldly affairs, A row of teeth falls out of the mouth, yet one's thoughts are still far-reaching. The boundaries of vows and commitments are not known, There is no satisfaction with offerings that cut off the life of liberation. Having become too familiar with these evil passions of attachment and hatred, Life is wasted in meaningless delusions and misconceptions. As one gets older, there is no time to stay, Without striving to make life meaningful, Remember from the heart that death is uncertain. There is no need for many empty words about doing this and doing that, Remembering death is half the Dharma completed. There is no end to the teachings of Kama and Terma, Although the benefits of practicing them are equally great, The root of everything is to cultivate the nature of one's own mind, This is the ultimate Dharma that is easy to do and has great meaning. Knowing only the superficial observation of where one is, Without the realization of awareness and body-mind merging, Since the qualities of hearing, thinking, and meditating have not increased, There is no need to doubt whether the Dharma is understood. Do not be distracted outwardly, look at the nature of the one who is distracted, Do not meditate inwardly, thoroughly investigate the source of the meditator, Do not add fabrications after the thought of meditation, Do not introduce self-righteous thoughts into the mind. In short, do not make any intentions, Simply recognize the ordinary nature of your own mind, If you can cultivate without acceptance, rejection, fabrication, or modification, You will gradually see the true face of Dharmakaya. All the realizations of the five paths and ten bhumis, Are attained only through devotion to the lama, Therefore, at the one and only supreme root lama, Cultivate unwavering devotion with the four modes of conduct. Even if you receive a few empowerments, transmissions, and instructions, It seems that faith and devotion are present in all one's own traditions, Naked seeing.
