Therefore, to practice Dharma, one must attain complete freedom within one's own mind, without relying on anything external. This is because it is the essence of all instructions, the core of all Dharmas, and the root of all profound paths. Therefore, always strive to cultivate the nature of your own mind. Teach others to do the same. This is the eighth instruction. That is, a beginner should not be distracted for even a moment. Cultivate it like taming a wild horse. For this, short but frequent sessions are necessary. Grasp the point of stability and cultivate with a balanced approach, neither too tight nor too loose, like a Brahmin spinning thread. For this, solitude away from distractions is necessary. When movement subsides into its own ground, cultivate without even a speck of fabrication or meditation, without a moment of distraction, in a natural, relaxed state. For this, the guard of mindfulness is necessary. Having seen the naked essence, cultivate by letting go of mental constructs and artificiality, settling into the natural state. For this, the whip of diligence is necessary. Having recognized the measure of reality, cultivate all appearances and emptiness without near or far, as if arriving at the precious golden island of primordial treasure. For all of this, the nail of devotion is necessary. In short, this very clear and lucid mind is innate wisdom, so it is enough to recognize that clear and lucid state without fabrication. The arising of various thoughts is the radiance of wisdom, so by looking intently at whatever arises, it naturally pacifies and naturally liberates, and that is the essence of practice. If one clings too much to good experiences, then that good experience is like a bad one, so one must not cling to it. When experience fades and awareness becomes clear and lucid, purer than previous thoughts, this is the desire to give rise to higher vision, so it is a good experience that seems bad. At that time, one must cultivate the natural liberation of thoughts. In short, the great adept Saraha said, "Soma, relax, self-purify." These three key points are the practice of Mahamudra practitioners. Soma means not fabricating one's own mind, relaxing means without effort, and self-purifying means not abandoning thoughts with antidotes. All the key points of practice are contained within these three. All views are the reality of one's own mind. All meditations are the radiance of one's own mind. All actions are the training of one's own mind. All fruits are contained within the realization of one's own mind. All the
