It should be known how to translate the empty and clear Mahamudra of Awareness, etc. For delusion, meditate on Manjushri and Vairochana. Translate Dharmadhatu Wisdom, Rig-empty hand seal, etc. For pride, meditate on Vajrakumara and Ratnasambhava. Translate Equality Wisdom, Memory-empty hand seal, etc. For jealousy, meditate on Yamantaka and Amoghasiddhi. Translate Accomplishing Activity Wisdom and Feeling-empty Mahamudra, etc. Also, When afflictions arise naturally, their arising is the completion of power, and they are taken onto the path. If afflictions are not very coarse, but subtle thoughts are continuous and obstruct samadhi, then they are latent. Therefore, if thoughts are deliberately generated and afflictions arise manifestly, they will be taken onto the path and their root will be severed. In particular, when the mind is focused on the generation and completion stages, and awareness is clear and lucid, whatever good or bad thoughts arise have great power, so it is important not to leave them in equanimity, but to immediately take them onto the path by looking at their respective essences, etc. All dharmas are taught only as methods for subduing afflictions. Nowadays, there are few practitioners who subdue afflictions. Some say they take what they do not abandon onto the path. Outwardly pleasing, inwardly empty, like empty drums. If you act according to the Dharma, even if you are as weak as a dog, you are still a virtuous practitioner who upholds the Buddha's teachings. Outwardly like a practitioner, inwardly full of wealth and afflictions. Who else but them is the great axe that destroys the teachings? Even if the afflictions in my own mind-stream are burned by fire, I still have a mind that benefits others from the depths of my heart. By the virtue of writing in accordance with the Dharma. May all beings connected with it be self-liberated! This was also written to inspire some faithful practitioners, while practicing as a hermit on the hillside of the Ocean of Qualities, may it benefit many sentient beings! May virtue and goodness increase! May blessings descend from the expanse of wisdom. Vajra Guru Padmakara. The inseparable Buddha Padma Nyingje. I offer to the clear bindu in the center of my heart. Yogis who have faith and commitment. Striving diligently on the path of the excellent. For you fortunate ones, this is the essence of the instructions. Listen here as I speak freely whatever arises in my mind. Alas! This human body is extremely difficult to obtain, like a poor person finding a wish-fulfilling jewel.

It is like that. Without relying on this precious human body, there is no way to attain liberation. Do not waste the leisure and endowment. Teach others in the same way. This is the first instruction. To engage in sin without hesitation just to fill one's stomach is to waste the leisure and endowment. To always engage in all non-virtuous deeds is to waste the leisure and endowment. To strive for the greatness of this life is to waste the leisure and endowment. To not even remember the next life for a moment is to waste the leisure and endowment. Even if one enters the Dharma gate but does not act according to the Dharma, it is to waste the leisure and endowment. To discard vows and commitments like rags is to waste the leisure and endowment. To make the eight worldly concerns one's inner fortress is to waste the leisure and endowment. To pursue fame and wealth is to waste the leisure and endowment. In such a place and at such a time, wasting the leisure and endowment is very common. Making the leisure and endowment meaningful is rare. In short, if one does not practice the sacred Dharma, then all thoughts and actions are nothing but causes for wasting the leisure and endowment. If one does not practice the sacred Dharma, there is no way to escape from the unbearable ocean of suffering in samsara. The sacred Dharma is the source of all happiness and well-being, both temporary and long-term, like a good harvest. Strive diligently to practice the sacred Dharma. Teach others in the same way. This is the second instruction. Doing virtuous deeds for the sake of one's own greatness is not the sacred Dharma. Accumulating merit with the desire to compete with others is not the sacred Dharma. Building monuments that harm sentient beings and going on pilgrimages, etc., are also not the sacred Dharma. Making offerings with a sense of "I" is also not the sacred Dharma. Keeping vows with arrogance is also not the sacred Dharma. Engaging in study and contemplation with pride is also not the sacred Dharma. Meditating on emptiness with attachment is also not the sacred Dharma. Compassion with partiality is also not the sacred Dharma. Holding onto foolishness and stubbornness in one's heart is also not the sacred Dharma. Working for the benefit of others without having matured oneself is also not the sacred Dharma. Meditating and meditating, doing and doing, doing many things is also not the sacred Dharma. In short, claiming to be a practitioner, but like an anthill,
