Adorned with the arrangement of land and trees, and the well-arranged Dharma seat, it is not merely for the sake of grandeur and extravagance, but has a special necessity. As it is said in the Dharma category of the Noble Great Treasure Heap Sutra: "In that place where the sacred Dharma is excellently expounded, erect a lion throne, umbrellas, and banners. Adorn it with pearls, precious jewels, the sound of pleasant musical instruments, and various kinds of offerings. Offer cushions of various materials as Dharma seats. Rely on the Khenpo and Acharya with a pleasing mind. Treat others with respect, without feeling weary. That person will possess the thirty-two marks." This indicates that there are also extensive elaborations in other aspects. Secondly, to explain the distinction by empowerment, that is, when the embodiment of all Buddhas, the supreme protector's incarnate lamas, ascend the great lion throne to turn the wheel of Dharma, there are also three aspects to offering empowerment and consecration in conjunction with accumulating merit and celebrations: preliminary actions, main actions, and subsequent actions. First, the preliminary actions: Just as the Bhagavan showed the act of subduing the Maras before going to the Bodhi tree, before the complete and auspicious consecration, it is necessary to clear away all obstacles, wrong views, hindrances, and unfavorable conditions. This has already been accomplished through the power of the compassion of the Gyalwang Rinpoche, the master of all mandalas. Then, to invite and welcome the Dharma throne, which possesses the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four miraculous feet, the ten powers, and the four activities, the front is swept with immeasurable clouds of divine offerings. For example, when a Chakravartin king appears in the world, the son of the elephant earth protector takes a precious vessel filled with nectar from the abode of the thirty-three gods, pours it on the Chakravartin's head, bathes him, and then empowers him as king. Also, when the Dharma king, the Buddha Bhagavan, appeared in the world, the kings of the gods and nagas bathed the Buddha's body with pure water from the heavens, so it is necessary to first establish a bathhouse and perform a bath to cleanse the apparent and temporary impurities.

And, having gathered together all the distinctive features of the aspirations and activities of the Tathagatas and their retinues, until samsara is empty, as the unsurpassed teacher of gods and humans, manifesting activities, never wavering, from the very beginning accomplishing the immeasurable light of life and wisdom. The body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Buddhas and their retinues who abide throughout space, all the splendor of the inexhaustible wheel of ornaments gathered together, bound immovably by the non-dual seal, these too are accomplished by the blessings of the all-knowing Victorious Ones. Secondly, there are two aspects to the actual activities: bestowing and nourishing with common offerings, and bestowing and nourishing with uncommon offerings. The first is all activities that are virtuous deeds, wherein, through the seven-branch offering, the gate of accumulation is generally accomplished, that is, oneself and others, all beings pervading space, all transforming into bodies like the dust of the earth, prostrating with great reverence through the three doors of body, speech, and mind; offering with actual wealth and the ocean of visualized Samantabhadra offering clouds; confessing and restraining all sins, obscurations, faults, and downfalls of the three doors of body, speech, and mind with intense remorse; rejoicing in all the virtuous deeds of all noble ones and ordinary beings; urging the turning of the supreme wheel of Dharma, encompassed by the three vehicles, without interruption; requesting that this form body remain steadfastly until samsara is empty; dedicating all the roots of virtue of the three times entirely to the great fruit of enlightenment that does not abide in either extreme. These too should be put into practice. In particular, with the offering of pure realms as a preliminary, the supports in which body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities are spontaneously accomplished in the inexhaustible wheel of ornaments, and the special features of wealth represented by precious jewels and silks that are valuable in the world, and various delicious foods of many meritorious meals, such as food and drink, etc., should be offered and presented in sequence, and served and revered with utmost effort. Secondly, bestowing with uncommon offerings, as it says in the Vimalakirti Sutra: Lord of the Gods, among all the offerings to the Tathagatas, what is the offering of
