With the wisdom of analysis, block the clinging to phenomena. By placing the mind on the two selflessnesses, the seeds of samsara will cease. Since it is not an extreme school, avoid the thoughts of permanence and annihilation. The so-called philosophical tenets are just differences in thought. Conditioned things are momentary and impermanent, and composed of indivisible particles; this is the assertion of the Vaibhashika. The causes cease with their own nature, and the Sautrantika produces results in accordance. The completely imputed nature is non-existent, and the other-dependent is truly established; this is the Mind-Only school's assertion. Freedom from elaboration is the extreme of permanence, and dependent origination is the extreme of annihilation. Abandoning these is the view of the Madhyamaka school. Nowadays, in this land of snow mountains, if conventional truth exists, then everything exists; if ultimate truth does not exist, then nothing exists, and so on. Holding views of permanence and annihilation, which are no different from those of non-Buddhist texts. Yet they boast of being the unprecedented Great Madhyamaka. Merely understanding the meaning of negation, they boast of having realized the view. If it's just talk, it might be okay, but it's not truly realizing the view of reality. The analysis of the aggregates is emptiness, like a tree in the water, without essence. All views are reversed by emptiness; to view emptiness as emptiness is like a cleansing medicine turning into poison. Even practices and meditations that seem profound are just biased thoughts of discrimination, not the views of the noble father and sons. This concludes the chapter on philosophical tenets. In short, no matter how many conventional elaborations there are, they are refuted by reductio ad absurdum arguments. In order to enter the way of meditation, one should learn the essential points of definitive meaning Madhyamaka. The basis to be purified is the Sugata-garbha (Tathagatagarbha), the path to be practiced is the Vajra Yoga, and the result of purification is the Dharmakaya. In the Mind-Only school, through realization and the complete elimination of external objects, all discriminations are reversed; that path itself is the Madhyamaka. The ground of all kinds of things is the basis of everything, and the Sugata-garbha is also the basis of goodness. The Buddhas taught the Sugata-garbha with the word "garbha" (essence). Purity, delight, luminosity, non-confusion, and non-fabrication. This is the Sugata-garbha, the Dharma-nature that has always been present. Suchness is without difference and pure in all things. Because it is the Tathagatagarbha, all beings possess the Tathagatagarbha. The realm of reality, which has no beginning, is the place of all dharmas. Because it exists, all beings and Nirvana can be attained. Sign

That and arising, since the ultimate nature is empty, All elaborations are empty by their own nature, the nature of reality, the perfectly accomplished, is not like that. Having the characteristic of being with distinctions, By the adventitious, the realm is empty. Having the characteristic of being without distinctions, It is not empty of the unsurpassed Dharma. The realm of Dharma without rejection or acceptance, By its very nature, it is completely pure. In the empty aspect, the qualities of the Dharmakaya, In the appearing aspect, the body and pure lands, etc. The basis for appearance is the cause free from abiding, The result of freedom is spontaneously present from the beginning. Like a treasure and a fruit tree, Those two lineages should be known. Unobstructed, naturally abiding, and Perfectly attained, the supreme itself. From those two lineages, It is desired to attain the three bodies of the Buddha. The first is the first body, The second is the latter two. That which is covered by the net of afflictions, Is definitely called a "sentient being." When that same one is free from afflictions, It is called a "Buddha." How it was before, so it is later, It is the unchanging nature of reality. Even when the sun is covered by clouds, The wind does not eliminate both. Even though elaborations are cut off by hearing, thinking, and meditating, That realm is not diminished. Although a horse is not a cow, It is not right to say that both are non-existent. Afflictions and nirvana, Not that if one is absent, all are absent. From the melting of hailstones, Like a child mistakenly thinking there are no jewels. From the emptiness of elaborated phenomena, Some mistakenly think the essence is empty. The Dharma of emptiness is also different, The Dharma of non-emptiness is also different. Just as there is pollen inside a lotus, But the lotus itself is not pollen. By the existence of the essence of the Victorious One, It is not established that it is that itself. In the mind itself, which is clear light, When adventitious stains are removed, Like gold hidden in the earth, Self-arisen wisdom becomes manifest. Look at reality in reality, If you see reality, you are completely liberated. Just as a skilled goldsmith, Removes impurities from precious gem types, And gradually purifies them. The Victorious One, seeing the impure, Realm of sentient beings, teaches the Dharma, With the words of the four truths, he generates weariness, And introduces them into the pure discipline. With the words of the three liberations, He causes them to realize the nature of the Tathagata. The good speech of the three wheels completely pure.
