Here, those who enter with lineage, the division by vehicle is threefold, or the division by cause and effect is twofold. In the vehicle of cause, there are four tenets. For the Hearers, there are the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika, for the Great Vehicle, there are Madhyamaka and Cittamatra. Buddhahood is the fourth, and the fifth is not the intention of the Sage. Those who speak in accordance with the Vaisheshikas, assert that knowable things are contained in five categories. The central atom is surrounded by atoms from all directions, gross matter is the aggregation of subtle particles, and the continuum is composed of the three times, like a yak's tail and a crescent moon. All conditioned phenomena are momentary, empty of self, and without an agent. If something is destroyed and eliminated by wisdom, then that wisdom cannot comprehend it. Like water in a vase, it exists in conventional truth, but is different in ultimate truth. The five senses together with consciousness see external objects, and all mental factors arise simultaneously with the five similarities. Sense-born consciousness directly cognizes the accumulation of subtle particles without conceptualization. Although it can distinguish between objects and the differences between objects, there is only cognition of objects and no self-awareness. Grasping and the grasped arise simultaneously. Names, words, and so on are not real, conditioned phenomena exist as substances in the three times, and whatever actions are performed are not wasted. Space and the two cessations, the truth of the path together with the retinue of consciousness, are unconditioned and therefore without defilements, while the others are the increase of defilements. The Kashmiri treatises are as vast as a reservoir of water, and are understood to be the assertions of the Vaibhashikas. The preceding moment of a thing, the appearance of the object, the producer is the seed, what is produced by the seed appears as the present appearance, by the producer to the external object, by the external object to know the meaning, the arising of consciousness has appearance, it is not the appearance of the field of activity of the senses. However, in a clear mirror, just as the appearance of a face arises, the grasper and the grasped become the object and the subject. The senses are the dominant condition for consciousness, the object is the objective condition for the arising of appearance in consciousness, on the common basis of the appearance consciousness, similar things are experienced. Space is like the child of a barren woman, the two cessations are also like space, conditioned phenomena and matter are not real, those who follow the three times also do not exist, unobstructed form is also not real, the continuous mind of abandonment and so on, are imputedly existent according to the Sautrantikas, who follow scripture and reason. The four root schools and so on, all those who are determined to be of the Hearer lineage, only understand the coarse selflessness of phenomena, and the selflessness of

Being self-sufficient, Realizing the absence of inherently existent self. Habituating to the sixteen truths, With the eight types having gone before, When gradually traversing the five paths, Through the manner of entering and abiding, Attaining the Arhatship with and without remainder. The Buddhas have two bodies, The enjoyment body of perfect enjoyment and, It is not considered a Great Vehicle teaching. The Pratyekabuddhas, regarding the four truths, Adding the twelve links of dependent origination, Initially meditating on selflessness, From heat to the path of no more learning, Manifesting it on a single seat. In order to abandon the conceptualization of the object of grasping, And in order not to abandon the grasper, One should know that the path like a rhinoceros horn, Is truly condensed. Emptiness is the exhaustion by wisdom, Cessation of continuity is called Nirvana. That upon which one rides and liberates, Is superior by the seven Great Vehicles. Following the sutras that teach the three realms as mind-only, There are no inherently existent, hidden parts, etc., So-called part-possessing phenomena. Extremely subtle particles are not existent, Like experiencing a dream, Although external phenomena are not truly existent, They vividly appear without an object of focus. The consciousness in which the grasper and grasped are liberated, Is truly existent as the ultimate truth. The other-powered, dependent on the conditions of grasper and grasped, The conventionally established is false because The conceptual imputation is completely severed. The perfectly established is true because It is immutable and not inverted, the ultimate truth is existent. Following the final turning of the wheel, Appearance is established in knowledge, But with the difference in the way of grasping of knowledge, The half-egg school says that the number of grasper and grasped are equal, And various non-dualities are said to be true. All appearances, in both mind and object, Depend solely on the unimagined imprints. Although there is no real entity other than knowledge, Knowledge is falsely realized with ignorance polluting the mind, Divided into two by the distinction of defiled and undefiled. Most of the higher and lower schools, Are also distinguished by these names. Thus, the tenets of the Yogacara school, Declare the crossing of the ocean of scriptures. Not abiding on the edge of proliferation, Saying that all phenomena are Madhyamaka, With the Svātantrika and the three Sharavas, etc., If one knows the reason for being mistaken and not mistaken, By what is existent and non-existent, The conventional and ultimate are distinguished. Because of the ability and inability to function, The conventional consciousness and imprints are divided into true and untrue.
