Turn it around, be able to tolerate relatives but not enemies, be able to tolerate those, but not suffering such as illness, be able to tolerate all of those, but forget the Dharma when happy, etc. In terms of mind training, abandoning expectations is a vow, so it should be practiced constantly. Transform intention, keep original state. It means: The intention of cherishing oneself and not cherishing others before, should be reversed, and only cherish others. All mind training must be small in appearance but great in effect, so the external behavior should be the same as other friends who are in accordance with the Dharma, keep your own color, and let others mature. Do not speak of impaired limbs. It means: Do not say unpleasant words about worldly defects such as blindness, foolishness, etc., and Dharma defects such as broken vows, etc., but speak pleasant and pleasing words with peace, gentleness, and a smile. Do not think of anything about others. It means: Do not think of the faults of other sentient beings in general, and especially those who have entered the Dharma, seeing faults is because my own appearance is not pure, he does not have such faults. Just like some people even think that the Buddha has faults, think like this, and punish your own faulty mind. First tame the strongest affliction. It means: Observe what is the strongest affliction in your own mind, first pile up the Dharma on it to tame and practice. Abandon all expectations for results. It means: Practicing mind training is to subdue gods and ghosts, expecting to be considered a good person, giving favors in a harmful way, etc. are all disguises, so abandon them. In short, abandon all expectations for the results of self-interest thoughts such as happiness and fame in this life, the happiness of gods and humans in the next life, and the attainment of Nirvana for oneself. Abandon poisonous food. It means: All virtuous deeds caused by the true clinging to things and the cherishing of self are like poisonous food, so abandon them, and practice non-attachment like illusion. Do not rely on good people. It means: For example, a good person in the world will never forget the person who has been kind to him, no matter how long the time and place have passed, similarly, for the person who has hurt himself, he will hold a grudge and never

One should abandon that desire for revenge, and instead have the thought and action of returning good for harm. "Do not retaliate with harsh words." In general, do not delight in exposing the faults of others. In particular, when others speak harsh words to you, not only should you not retaliate with harsh words, but even if you have been wronged, do not use this as an excuse, but always strive to praise the virtues of others. "Do not wait for an opportunity." That is, do not harbor resentment for the harm others have done, and do not forget it even after many years, waiting for an opportunity to take revenge. You should abandon this practice and transform revenge into benefit. Even in the case of harm caused by spirits, do not harbor resentment, but only cultivate loving-kindness and compassion. "Do not hit the mark." This refers to not saying words that expose the faults of others, as well as reciting mantras for the life force of non-humans, etc. Do not say words that will sting the hearts of others. "Do not transfer the burden of a dzo onto an ox." That is, do not shift your own responsibilities onto others, nor should you transfer tasks that are difficult for you to complete onto others through deception, just like transferring the heavy load on the back of a dzo onto an ox. Do not do this. "Do not pursue the peak of speed." Just as in a horse race, you focus your attention on who is running the fastest, do not expect to gain more wealth, respect, and fame than other practitioners, nor should you strive to pursue various methods to obtain material gain. You should abandon this thought and action, and be indifferent to whether or not you gain wealth, respect, and fame. "Do not practice for the sake of healing." That is, if you temporarily endure failure in order to pursue your own comfort, or if you practice mind training in the hope of pacifying illnesses, spirits, and eliminating misfortune, then it becomes a distorted practice, like reciting Bon texts to cure illnesses. Therefore, do not do this. Whether you encounter happiness or suffering, you should abandon hope, fear, pride, and deception, and practice. Gyalsé Thogmé said, "If you understand this mind training for a single thought as a method that benefits ghosts and spirits, then doing so is no different from doing evil. Practice should be an antidote to afflictions and conceptual thoughts." From this, it can be seen that so-called wrong Dharma refers to: wrong views represented by eternalism and nihilism, wrong practice represented by attachment, and wrong conduct that contradicts the three vows. In short, anything that contradicts the views and actions spoken of in the authoritative scriptures of the Holy Dharma is self and other.
