That is, cherish conduct. It means that when a practitioner who has practiced this Dharma is afflicted by a fatal disease, first, all possessions are generally offered to the Guru and the Three Jewels, and in particular, whatever one considers to be of greatest benefit should be given away, so that there is not the slightest attachment or clinging. This is the power of the white seed. If possible, offer the seven-branch offering. If not, then by the power of all the roots of virtue accumulated in my three times, may I never forget the precious Bodhicitta in all my lives, and may it grow through practice. May I meet the true Guru who teaches this Dharma, and may all this be accomplished, I pray that the Guru and the precious Three Jewels will bless me. With the power of single-minded wishes and prayers, and the cherishing of self-grasping, I have suffered in countless cycles of rebirth. Now I must also experience the suffering of death. But in reality, neither I nor the mind have substance, so there will be no death. Nao, I must destroy you, the self-grasping that thinks it will die. In death, the bardo, and all lives, may I never be separated from the two precious Bodhicittas, this is the power of propulsion. Clearly remembering the two Bodhicittas previously practiced is the power of habituation. Therefore, the most important thing is to focus on these single-mindedly. As an aid, one should also cherish conduct, and the body should maintain the seven-point posture. If not, then place the right side below. With the right hand supporting the cheek, block the right nostril with the little finger. Let the breath flow from the left side, and with loving-kindness and compassion as the guide, combine the inhalation and exhalation of breath with the practice of giving and receiving. After that, know that all things such as samsara, nirvana, birth, and death are manifestations of the mind. In the state of knowing that the nature of the mind has no inherent existence, do not cling to anything with conceptual thoughts. In this state, one should be able to breathe. It is said that there are many exaggerated deathbed instructions, and there is nothing more wonderful than this. The ashes of an undamaged conch shell, and the powder of a lodestone mixed with honey and applied to the crown of the head, are also the key instructions for the transference of matter. Fifth, showing the extent of the increase of wisdom is: All Dharmas converge on one purpose. It means that the purpose of all the Dharmas of the Great and Small Vehicles converges on the one thing of taming self-grasping.

While practicing Dharma, while meditating on mind training, self-cherishing should become smaller and smaller. If it doesn't become an antidote to self-grasping, then all the Dharma practice becomes meaningless. The root of whether Dharma becomes Dharma lies in this. This is said to be the scale for measuring practitioners. The saying "Hold the two witnesses as primary" means that seeing others as qualified practitioners is also a testimony, but one's own mind The hidden aspects are not understood by ordinary people. Good conduct, even occasional, can be satisfying. If one's own heart constantly feels ashamed, it is a sign of successful mind training. Therefore, do not rely on the testimony of others, but take one's own heart as the primary witness. The saying "Constantly rely on only joy and ease" means that even when misfortune and suffering occur, one should never generate fear and discouragement, but transform them into aids for mind training, and constantly associate with joy and ease. This is the standard of successful mind training. No matter what misfortune occurs, one should cultivate joy in it, and on this basis, learn to gladly accept all the misfortunes of others. The saying "Even when distracted, one can manage, then it is accomplished" means that, for example, just as a skilled rider will not fall from the horse even when distracted, similarly, when a sudden misfortune occurs, even if one does not deliberately maintain mindfulness, one can transform that misfortune into an aid for mind training, and that is accomplishment. Whether enemies, friends, harmers, happiness, or suffering appear, the mind of enlightenment arises effortlessly. These four are signs that the mind of enlightenment has been accomplished and has reached the essential point, not that it is a sign that one does not need to practice anymore, but that one must continuously improve until one attains Buddhahood. The sixth, the vows of mind training are: Always train in the three general meanings. The so-called three general meanings are: Not contradicting the commitment of mind training, that is, from the Pratimoksha vows, Bodhisattva vows to the Mantrayana vows, not being stained by the defilements of transgressions for whatever one has taken, and not breaking the vows. Not committing taboos, that is, not being attached to self-grasping, hoping that others will understand, thereby destroying divine images, cutting down sacred trees, disturbing sacred waters, associating with lepers or beggars, etc., one should abandon such taboo behaviors and maintain pure conduct. Not being biased towards one side, that is, being able to endure the harm of humans, but not being able to endure the harm of spirits, etc.
