The treasure lineage related to the "Dakini Heart Drop" has remained unbroken to this day. We have also been fortunate enough to receive all of these, like harvesting in a beautiful spring, not only converging into one river from all directions, but also the personal lineage of Karma Heart Drop has been transmitted successively from Rangjung Zhap to experiential guidance. The venerable Pawa Dorje Tsuklak Gawae, the omniscient Chokyi Jungne (Omniscient Dharma Source), the thirteenth Je Dudul Dorje, Pawa Tsuklak Chokyal, and the omniscient Gyalwang Karmapa Tekchok Dorje bestowed their kindness in the form of oral transmission and guidance. This is just a brief mention here; for detailed information, refer to "The Great Descent of the Secret Heart Drop," or "The Garland of Precious Histories of Yangtik," and "The Supplement to the Mother and Son Lineage of Heart Drop Made by Terton Rinpoche—The Iron Hook that Draws Certainty." These will be discussed at this time. Second, regarding the empowerment that ripens, there are two types: the base empowerment and the life-vow. The first, in the Ornament of Clear Realization, it says: "Empowerment in four ways, ripens the fortunate one. With elaboration and without elaboration, extremely without elaboration, and likewise, most extremely without elaboration. In the manner of four distinctions, it ripens the self-continuum of the fortunate one." As it is said, in general, in the context of the three yogas, unlike the lower vehicles that rely on austerities, etc., the five poisons are transformed into the path through the pith instructions, and the habitual patterns of dualistic conceptualization of the ripening are purified by special skillful means, and the wisdom of one's own continuum is made manifest. The word Abhiṣeka (Sanskrit: Abhiṣeka) means to pour or infuse, and from the aspect of completely purifying the habitual patterns of ignorance and samsara, it is pouring, and from the aspect of making the nature of the base, which is inherently endowed with the three kayas, manifest, it is also infusing. In particular, here, empowerment is given in the mandala of the Dharmata Bodhicitta, which is primordially pure in appearance and existence, in the manner of the Great Perfection, which is naturally free from elaboration, and it is introduced with naked awareness. That is to say, those of superior faculties attain liberation at the time of empowerment, those of intermediate faculties understand the meaning of the symbols and wisdom descends, and even those of inferior faculties plant the seed of liberation in their continuum. The function of empowerment is to manifest the sprout of liberation, or

It is said that it matures into the power of certain birth. Here, although it is given in the manner of combining the mother and child teachings, the empowerments are as described in the Lama Yangthig. The method of bestowing is also that first, before the instructions, the empowerment with elaboration is given; before Trekchö, the empowerment without elaboration; before Tögal, the empowerment with extreme non-elaboration and the empowerment with utmost non-elaboration are combined, which is the practice. Second, the samaya: In the Thalgyur, it says: The samaya that depends on empowerment, the details cannot be fully expressed, but in brief, protect the body, speech, and mind. Therefore, the mind that never deviates from the meaning of what is to be protected, together with the seed. In the Subtle Explanation, it says: One who never turns away from diligence, even in dreams recites the samaya, making a vow is considered discipline. So it is. If divided, each of body, speech, and mind has outer outer, outer inner, outer secret, and similarly, the two inner secrets are also combined, making twenty-seven categories. Furthermore, the samaya substances of secret mantra, such as the five meats and five amritas, are things that should be kept secret, and the things to be abandoned and adopted that are taught by the lama and fellow practitioners should be carefully guarded as secrets. In short, all the root and branch samayas that one has vowed to keep should be protected with mindfulness and awareness. In the Sutra of Confession of the Stainless King, it says: Samaya is like the earth, all fruits and crops ripen. And in the Sutra of the Supreme Place of Samaya, it says: If you do not violate this, Vajradhara, the complete and perfect Buddha, will surely be attained in this very life. So it is said, etc. Whether or not the fruit of practice and realization arises in the mindstream depends entirely on this. Third, there are three ways to rely on the stages of instructions to achieve liberation: the most diligent will be liberated in this life, the intermediate will be liberated in the bardo, and the least will be liberated in the realm of the Nirmāṇakāya of self-nature. The first is: In the great meditation practice called "The Lamp that Clarifies the Object of Focus," it says: First, if you do not trust in naked awareness, there is a risk of falling into bad views, so first you must study the instructions on the practice of bodhicitta. Then, when the warm signs of taming the mind are established, and guided by the instructions of other secret mantras, practitioners are divided into those with attachment and those without attachment, and then
