The root instructions such as "Yigchen" and the commentaries on them should also be held and realized in a way that does not separate from the book "Tig Yizhin Norbu". In particular, since the body is the basis for practice, rely on the nectar tree that eliminates obstacles of diseases and evil spirits; since the key to manifestation is the eye, rely on the lamp that eliminates obstacles; since awareness is the root of practicing the mind, rely on the stainless wisdom that eliminates obstacles, and do not just remain in words. What is important for both the generation stage and the completion stage is the instruction of the threefold sky: the outer sky, cloudless, clear and blue, is the unconditioned, dust-free sky; the inner sky is the secret central channel, connected to the Kati crystal string and the lasso water lamp that arise from the golden sea sun; pervading both of these is the indestructible bindu in the heart of the secret sky. This is not a part with a mixture of three impurities, but the pure, indestructible, luminous nature, the essence of the three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion, all aspects. That is, the example of the first sky is a dust-free mirror, the example of the second is a straight arrow, and the example of the third is like a Ketaka jewel. In general, the central channel, which is usually called the central channel, can actually be grasped by eye consciousness, and is established as the name of the central channel. It is now located on the back of the body, close to the vertebrae, and is known as the life channel, which is the generator of grasping and clinging to samsara. Here, what is to be established as the inner sky is the channel that transcends the object of eye consciousness, has five pure elements, is located in the center of the heart of those with a channel body, and the two branches that separate from it and pierce the eyes. The name of the former is called the Golden Sea Sun, and the name of the latter is called the Lasso Water Lamp. These are the sky or central channel that is the basis and the pervader. Its nature is extremely pure, and it also dwells in the nature of these two central channels of great purity, and is also included in them, and the terminology of the name is also used together. Both are the inner sky. The secret sky is the bindu with five pure elements. Its Dharma nature is self-luminous, the essence of the three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion, all aspects, which is the basis or the pervader. It should be understood in this way.

Therefore, in conjunction with the utterly clear state of the outer sky, focus on the inner sky. When focusing on this secret sky, non-conceptual wisdom will effortlessly arise in the continuum. Regarding the practice of relying on dark rooms, etc., it should be understood from the Wheel of Luminous Wisdom. The Omniscient Dharma Lord (All-Knowing Dharma Lord) said, the following is a concise post-practice for dispelling obstacles, enhancing, and practicing: Whatever appears, one should know it as the eight similes of illusion, thereby liberating oneself from attachment, aversion, and afflictions. For the mind's play that appears as rejection and establishment, one should determine that it is without root or basis, and not engage in clinging or acceptance and rejection. Until self-grasping dissolves into the dharmadhatu, one should practice the profound instructions and be cautious about the karma of cause and effect. One should engage in pure appearances and devotional reverence, and keep one's mind without flaws. One should protect vows and commitments, and dwell alone in secluded places. One should abandon distractions and busyness, and not rely on unnecessary continuums. One should be without attachment or clinging, and cultivate non-clinging as the path. One should constantly contemplate death, and ignite diligence like fire. One should spend days and nights in virtue, and let go of the affairs of this life. One should constantly rely on the lama, and pray with devotion. One should take the state of no reliance as the path, and abide in the state of non-action. One should abandon the grasping of self and other, and cut the root of hope and fear. One should transform adverse conditions into the path, and view all appearances as the lama. Knowing that all is one's own appearance, one should abandon self-grasping and clinging. Since everything is without essence, one should practice the yoga of unreality. Knowing primordial emptiness and present emptiness, self-appearance will naturally arise. One should abide in such means and conduct, and spend the days and nights. When the mind is easily swayed by external circumstances, one should cultivate the power of awareness and engage in practice in secluded places. When the clinging to rejection and establishment exists, one should accept and reject good and bad, and practice the meaning of non-duality. When nothing appears as a companion, one should transform the key points of the instructions and observe the meaning of awareness. When the fear of birth and death and the arising of "I" exist, one should practice the meaning of non-birth, so that all inner and outer appearances manifest as dharmata, at which point one abides in the un-meditative, continuous yoga like a flowing river. One should take such instructions as the nectar of the heart and hold them. Furthermore, in this method of instruction, the key instruction for distinguishing between mind and awareness is extremely important, and it should also be understood from the later texts of Trekchö, such as 'Stainless Sky'.
