Or place it directly upright. Or, guide it downwards with the perspective of an emanation body, without letting the mind wander. Do not move the eyes. Do not speak. Remain without moving the posture. By doing so, the appearances of the five lights of space and awareness, like a string of pearls with bindus, will increase upwards. At night, training with the moon as the support for the enjoyment body is also similar to that method. In particular, by fixing the eyes on the center of the moon and holding the mind without wandering, appearances increase. During the day, when the heat of the eyes increases and it becomes slightly unclear, balance it by counting, making it clear. This is extremely profound. Training with a lamp as the support for an emanation body is also similar to that. The key is to guide the mind from the center of the butter lamp to elsewhere and meditate. Furthermore, during the day, training with a fire crystal causes the light to increase upwards. By stopping the illusions of daytime, one grasps the natural state of transcendence of suffering. And, at night, training with the moon, that is, pure, stainless water, and a clear, bright lamp, causes the appearance of five-fold light. The illusions of the night, the factors of samsara, are purified into the two bodies, having the necessity of primordial liberation. Furthermore, in the morning, mostly fix the gaze on the east until the white light appears. Then, guide that appearance to the south and rest for a moment, then guide it further to the west, fixing the gaze on the gathering of five-colored light appearances. When gazing horizontally to the west in the evening, guide the appearance of brocade patterns to the north and train. If one cannot guide it even a little and it disappears, train for a long time without touching the support, and gradually lengthen the guiding time. Looking at the string of pearls abiding within the light is of utmost importance. It is said that this method of moving east, south, west, and north mainly relies on the flower chamber. Secondly, the introduction to the meaning of directly applying the essence of manifestation is: The empty sky, free from environmental conditions; a lamp in distant water, free from sensory conditions; a clear, high, and secluded place, free from locational conditions; focus the mind on the objects of the senses, without embellishing with hope and fear, relax naturally. The instruction given by the lama is: In the space in front of oneself, visualize a tent of five-colored light bindus, with five clusters of rainbow-encircled clouds, in the center of which are the Lama Kunsang Yabyum (ཀུན་བཟང་ཡབ་ཡུམ་, Samantabhadra Father-Mother), whose essence is Vairochana (རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད།, Vairochana, All-Illuminating), in the bindus of the four directions, visualize the union of the four Buddha families, Father and Mother, with strong devotion.

Please grant your blessings! Like this, pray as much as possible, and in the end, let all of that dissolve into your own heart. Inseparably mix the indestructible great luminosity, the essence of the three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion, with self-aware luminosity, and remain in that state. Recite the Dzogchen six-syllable mantra as much as possible. Then, according to the posture and way of looking, symbolically represent the appearance of phenomena. Alas! Just as it is explained in other Sutra and Tantra teachings, such as the Tathagatagarbha and the Guhyagarbha Tantra, meditate in the manner of mental engagement. Here, the awareness that is the ground, possesses the three wisdoms of the essence of primordial purity. The three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion are empty and clear, without limits, unobstructed, and beyond the realm of words and mind. In the manner of directly introducing them with profound instructions, for those fortunate individuals with superior faculties and karma, the instruction is given in three words: Go to a secluded place and adjust your body like this; the place is the cloudless sky; look at awareness like this! This is its meaning. By practicing in this way, the outer sphere of space, like a mirror, opens the door to appearances. The inner sphere of purity, called the "Pure Lamp," is like the face of the owner. Initially, it gradually expands from the light of a vast, dark blue expanse, appearing as brilliant as a rainbow in the sky or the plumage of a peacock. From the burning of the lamp, five colors of clear light also appear. This will become very clear. Like this. In the center of that, the lamp called the empty thigle, like throwing a stone into calm water or a bubble formed by blowing air, is initially just vague. Then, a red, round, clear, and transparent appearance manifests. Within that, the mind of the owner, like the awareness vajra chain, appears. As thin as a knot tied in a horse's tail, like a necklace of gold threads and pearls, a wire mesh, a bouquet of flowers, and a net of flowers remaining in place, it initially appears as a vague, unclear, trembling state. Therefore, guide it by the way of looking, place it within the fence of the Dharmadhatu, focus intently, and without being misled by thoughts of whether it exists or not, simply know how to look at the awareness of the viewer and the essence of awareness itself, and meditate without wavering. It will become more and more stable and clear. As it says in the *Uttaratantra*: One's own awareness, the vajra chain.
