Samala! Strive until the body is exhausted and weary, speech is hoarse and choked, and the flow of mind has not ceased. At those times, it is said that the guru, in a wrathful form, also engages in the actions of body, speech, and mind together with oneself. When one becomes weary of these, straighten the posture of the body, let the breath of speech rest naturally, and let the mind rest, gazing intently at the nature of the experiencer. Furthermore, the body takes on the posture of the peaceful and wrathful forms of the Sugata, the speech utters the essence of those sounds, and the mind focuses on the forms of those, without deviating from the path. Occasionally, utter "Ah Ah." Maintain the nature of after-awareness. When cutting off the continuation, the body takes the posture of the Buddha, the speech utters the sound of A(ཨ,Devanagari: अ,IAST:a,literal meaning:no), and the mind rests in equanimity without thought. By doing so, until there is no attachment or aversion, no affirmation or negation towards heat, cold, hunger, and thirst in the body; until there is unwavering faith in the guru's instructions and understanding arises spontaneously in speech; and until clear emptiness, unobstructed, self-arisen wisdom effortlessly manifests in the mind, it is said that repeating these practices is extremely important. The purpose of these is, in general, to purify the sins of body, speech, and mind, pacify obstacles, reverse clinging, and ultimately, to attain complete enlightenment in the Vajra of body, speech, and mind. Then, perform the empowerments of extreme simplicity and utter simplicity. In the "Aftermath" (འདས་རྗེས་), it says: "Then, the three, body, speech, and mind, be skilled in settling them into their natural state." Therefore, the method of settling into a natural state by resting, which is the very disturbance and fatigue of the elements caused by the previous separation of Ru-shan, should be done as described in the context of Trekchö (ཁྲེགས་ཆོད་). Regarding the common and uncommon signs and degrees at these times, one should learn from the "Great Perfection Heart Essence" (སྙིང་ཏིག་ཆེན་མོ་) and the "Supreme Vehicle Treasure" (ཐེག་མཆོག་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་མཛོད་), etc. Secondly, in the "Longsal" (ཀློང་གསལ་), it says: "In order to settle the essential points of manifestation, the outer, inner, and secret activities are, to discard the nine purifications with body, speech, and mind." Therefore, first are the three of the body: the outer is all the activities and distractions of worldly delusion; the inner is the inferior virtues such as prostrations and circumambulations; the secret is to abandon all distracting movements and to abide alone. Second are the three of speech: the outer is the various delusive talks of the world; the inner is recitations and repetitions, etc.

Sha. Abandon all secret speech and expression, and abide in this state. The third is the three of mind: all the illusions of the external world, the various mind-holdings of the inner generation and completion stages, and all the distractions of secret conceptual thoughts. Abandon all of these and abide in a state of non-conceptuality. By doing so, the three doors will abide, become stable, and be liberated. At these times, practice the uncommon Guru Sadhana, outer, inner, secret, and very secret, as much as possible, according to the key instructions of the Ambrosia Tree of Clear Light. Second, there are two aspects to relying on the five key points to directly bring awareness into one's own mind: relying on the stream of uncontaminated wisdom, and introducing the meaning of bringing awareness into one's own mind. This instruction is superior to previous ones in seven distinct ways. What are the seven? The distinctiveness of the appearance of light, the distinctiveness of practice being integrated into practical application, the distinctiveness of one's own nature being directly perceived, the distinctiveness of the body's key points of the channels, the distinctiveness of the seeing faculties, the distinctiveness of the object of self-awareness, and the distinctiveness of the growth of experience. The instruction that possesses these distinctiveness should be practiced relying on the five key points, which are: body, speech, mind, door, and object. The first is the three postures: First, the Dharmakaya lion posture: bring the soles of the feet together, spread the knees outward, press the roots of the index fingers with the thumbs of the hands, hold the vajra fists, place them on the ground next to the heels, straighten the elbows, lift the upper body, pull the shoulders upward, tilt the neck slightly upward, keep the eyes still without moving the eyeballs and without blinking the eyelids, relax the gaze, and look at the space between the eyebrows. Roll the tongue slightly upward. Second, the Sambhogakaya elephant posture: lie face down, with knees and chest touching the ground, prop the elbows on the ground, support the cheeks with the palms, with the fingers touching the cheeks, straighten the spine, and look at the sky directly ahead with a sidelong glance, tilting the head slightly upward. Third, the Nirmanakaya yogi posture: sit squatting with the ankles of the feet together, place the hands on the knees, straighten the spine, and half-close the eyes, looking at the space. By doing so, the first posture will cause the elements to return to their natural state.
