Ral said: "How the arising awareness is, like a snake's knot, self-liberated. Because there is no antidote, stop the effort. The essence itself is primordially liberated." Therefore, it is said. Third, having ascertained that abiding, moving, and essence are inseparable, and introducing whatever arises in union as naked awareness: From the state where the three doors abide freely in their own nature, no matter how many conceptual thoughts arise from the unceasing play of energy, without acceptance or rejection, adoption or abandonment, by leaving them in their natural state, one abides unmoving in the state of dharmata, and because the self-energy of abiding abides without ceasing, it is liberated. Thus, the nature of abiding and scattering is non-dual and inseparable. Moreover, because the essence of abiding and moving is not dependent on conditions, without falling to any side of the appearances of the six aggregates, by leaving awareness naked, all large and small conceptual thoughts arise and dissolve spontaneously, like ice melting into water, or like mist dissolving into the sky, one should know that it does not stray from the play of dharmata and is unmoving. Thus, it is also said in the Wondrous: "Like the waves of the ocean, all the movements of the waves of the mind dissolve into the primordial ground ocean." As it is said. Thus, when the mind abides, it abides in the primordial state. When it scatters, it arises as the play of wisdom. When it is equal, it extends into the state of non-duality, so no matter how it arises, it does not stray from the radiance of the state of dharmata. Do not cultivate equanimity. Do not reject scattering. Do not awaken abiding. No matter how it arises, it does not stray from the magical display of one's own awareness. Moreover, it is said in the scripture: "The stainless pure Buddha, the self-aware dharmakaya is unchanging. Sal le sang nge wal le wa, like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide like an unchangeable, stable mountain. Abide like an unmoving, clear ocean. Abide like a sky without width or narrowness. However you abide, abide in the state of awareness. Scatter, abide, self-aware, clear, and discern and abide. Just as birds fly in the sky, they do not stray from the sky, so is the state of awareness. May all phenomena abide self-luminous and unmoving." As it is said, by relaxing naturally without fabrication, a peacefulness arises without acceptance or rejection, adoption or abandonment, hope or fear. Know that this is the meditation of awareness abiding in itself. Once this is recognized, then at all times of knowing, abiding, moving, acceptance or rejection, good thoughts, bad thoughts,

When the state of self-awareness, self-luminosity, and self-abiding arises, the meditation of non-grasping and self-abiding will naturally emerge. Guard it with a continuous flow of non-contrivance, like a river. These enable all phenomena that appear and are experienced to be recognized as transcending negation, affirmation, acceptance, rejection, hope, fear, and clinging. Alternatively, to replace these later recognitions, one can establish two ways of recognizing: like the instructions of Trekchö, the original abiding state, the mind itself abides, and awareness is without arising or ceasing, which is also very good. If a fortunate individual with good karma practices this meaning in their continuum, and the lama bestows the recognition, then doubts about the profound view will be severed, and by guarding its continuum without loss, stability will be quickly attained. For those who have not generated experiential understanding in meditation but have only reached the level of intellectual understanding, even if recognition is bestowed, it will be like pouring water into a bamboo basket. Therefore, one must strive to meditate again until experience arises in each object of focus. As the stages of experiential realization arise, bestowing recognition will gradually grasp the key points of experience. Fourth, the instruction on the fruition of no abandonment or attainment: The essence of the fruition is rig-stong (awareness-emptiness) Dharmakaya. Because it is primordially liberated, have faith that there is no need for repeated liberation. Because it is self-liberated, decide that it does not rely on other antidotes. Because it is spontaneously liberated, be confident that there is no need to abandon or adopt anything from the moment of liberation. In the state of maintaining the original condition, awareness-emptiness without trace, resolve that this is the original, perfect Great Perfection. Abide naturally, without contrivance, hope, or fear. In the ease of mind, liberation in the nature of reality, this is the original ground of reality. Now, awareness meets its own great nature, without effort, practice, or fabrication, relaxing the ordinary agitation. Repeating in the Dharmakaya's own great nature is the fruit of original, spontaneous Great Perfection. In short, resolve that your own mind is the Buddha, without hope, fabrication, or artifice, this is self-awareness. Abandoning the thoughts of doer, deed, and effort, relaxing into the vastness of original liberation is the reality of the Great Perfection of nature. One should train in the yoga of non-doing, like a flowing river. Here, although the earlier oral transmission only spoke of the general ways of conduct and fruition, the key points of view and meditation
