Since it has become like that, here, both the practice and the result are combined with the definitive understanding of the most secret key point, which is the support of Trekchö, and it arises from the cloud gathering of non-conceptual space. These are the instructions for stabilizing the mind, and the actual stage of the Trekchö All-Pacifying teachings has been completed. Secondly, there are four parts to teaching the instructions for stabilizing awareness, the guidance of the Tögal path: the preliminary practice of training the key points of body, speech, and mind; relying on the five key points to manifest directly in one's own place; showing the arising of the four visions through practice; and explaining the concluding instructions. The first part has two: distinguishing between samsara and nirvana; and letting go of the activities of the three doors into nine categories. First, in order to prevent obstacles from arising when beginning practice, protection should be performed. If accomplished, arrange a tsok offering and offer a tsok feast like a wish-fulfilling jewel ocean. Offer a golden mandala to the lama, and to symbolize that the disciples' awareness is without obscurations, they should be naked or remove the untrue upper garment. The lama should stand facing east, and the disciples should stand in a row in front of the lama, joining their palms at their hearts, and fixing their eyes on the lama's heart. In order to prevent obstacles from hindering the manifest practice, and to prevent the eight consciousnesses from scattering into objects, visualize the lama as being dark blue, extremely terrifying, with hair standing on end, bared fangs, and a lolling tongue. The lama should rest his left hand on his hip, and with his right hand, he should make a threatening gesture, starting from the east and pointing in all directions, dispelling obstacles with his gaze and gesture. From the lama's heart, a blue (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, hūṃ, seed syllable) light radiates, passing through the network of channels to the crown of the disciples' heads, and visualize the body transforming into blue (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, hūṃ, seed syllable). All the teachers and disciples should recite Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, hūṃ, seed syllable) di ri ri. In this way, first visualize the letters clearly in the various places of the lama. Visualize light radiating from there and dissolving into the various places of the disciples. On the left sole, visualize green (ཡཾ, yaṃ, yaṃ, wind); in the navel, visualize red-green (རཾ, raṃ, raṃ, fire); in the throat, visualize smoky black (ཁཾ, khaṃ, khaṃ, space); on the forehead, visualize blue (ཨེ, e, e, space); under the armpits, visualize yellow (སུཾ, suṃ, suṃ, space); on the right knee, visualize white (ཧ, ha, ha, space); on the right sole, visualize blue-black (ཕཊ, phaṭ, phaṭ, wrathful). In this way, visualize each of the eight letters in turn, and also recite each letter with the mouth, twenty-one times with each breath, to perform the protection. In the Karma Nyingtik tradition, in order to protect, recite twenty-one

Recite together. In the tradition of the great vidyādharas, finally, visualize that from the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽) in the heart of the guru, Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽) emanates, enters the heart of the disciple, and the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽) fills the entire body. The guru and disciple together recite three times with a Ha sound. Here, if the details are omitted, even if the tsok is not completed, there is no contradiction. Having done the protection of the eight letters in this way, the actual distinction between saṃsāra and nirvāṇa is: As it is said in the Root Tantra: "If saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are not distinguished, the three realms of body, speech, and mind, the connection will not be severed, so saṃsāra and nirvāṇa must be distinguished." Because it is said in this way, the dharma nature of the body, speech, and mind of sentient beings is primordially and naturally pure, but temporarily obscured by the clinging to delusion, so from beginningless time until now, they have been continuously revolving in the six realms. The respective postures of the six realms, the expressions of speech, the thoughts of the mind, the ways of experiencing suffering, although they have experienced countless, have all gone to the power of meaninglessness. Now, what should be done by clinging to unfinished karma? Therefore, now it is necessary to distinguish the saṃsāra and nirvāṇa of the body, speech, and mind, and from now on, to cut off the root of being born in saṃsāra. How to distinguish? By making the path in accordance with the karmic appearances of saṃsāra, thereby realizing the weaknesses of bad karma, and from now on, being liberated from clinging, because, even in the common mantra it is said: "With conceptual thought, eliminate conceptual thought, with existence itself, eliminate existence. Just as water enters the ear, it must be drawn out with water. Similarly, the conceptual thought of things must also be purified with conceptual thought." Like that. That is, go to a solitary place such as a charnel ground or an empty valley, give a torma to the ḍākinīs and the local deities, and request that they do not obstruct the distinction between saṃsāra and nirvāṇa. Now, for the benefit of sentient beings, distinguish saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, and from now on, do not regress into saṃsāra. After generating this thought, the heat and cold of hell, the hunger and thirst of pretas, the servitude of animals, the birth, old age, sickness, and death of humans, the fighting of asuras, the fall of gods, etc., the ways of acting of the six realms, happiness and suffering, etc., the respective postures of the body, the various sounds of speech, and the suffering of each one experienced in one's own mind, should be visualized in this way.
