Also, it won't go. Rather than engaging in millions and billions of recitations and practices, if one strives to supplicate the lama three times, its power is not even close to a hundred thousand times. Whoever meditates on the completion stage for eons, rather than that, the mere appearance of the lama in the center of one's mind is not even capable of twenty thousand times its power. So it is said. In the "Lamp Illuminating," it says: "Son of the lineage, as many Buddhas, Bhagavat, reside in the ten directions, and the merit of the body, speech, and mind vajra of those Buddhas, Bhagavat, is surpassed by the merit of a single pore of the skin of the master. Why is that? Son of the lineage, the mind of enlightenment is the essence of the wisdom of the Buddhas." So it is said. The lamas who have heard the sutras of the Great and Small Vehicles, and the lamas who have received the tantras, transmissions, and instructions of the Secret Mantra, have slight differences in terms of strictness, but in general, there is no difference. The object of the first root downfall, whether the vows are broken or not, is from oneself, and it is not necessary to identify the lama as only the root lama. After one has received the empowerment of mantra, all the lamas with whom one has a Dharma connection are the objects of protecting the first root downfall, so no matter how much or how little Sutra Dharma or Mantra Dharma one has received, it is important not to accumulate negative karma after receiving it. If there is no Dharma connection, then it is not one's own lama, and even the lamas of the lineage, although they are not the objects of the root downfall, one should never revile or disrespect them. In general, do not look at the faults of sentient beings. Know the mother, remember the kindness, and cultivate loving-kindness and compassion. Do not look at the faults of practitioners who have entered the door of practice. Knowing that they are like people on the same boat, think only of their qualities and rejoice and admire them. In particular, do not look at the faults of the lama. In the "Entering the Development of the Power of Faith," the Sutra of the Seal, it says: "Taking away the possessions of all the beings in the three thousand worlds, and destroying all the stupas, the fault of disparaging one Bodhisattva is greater. If one despises or reviles a Bodhisattva for any reason, in the wailing hell, between five hundred yojanas of the body, each of the heads, mouths, and tongues will have five hundred, and each tongue will be plowed with five hundred plows." So it is said, therefore, in general, to slander a holy person

The faults are immeasurable. Especially Bodhisattvas, and even more so, Tantric Yogis, the place is extremely important. Moreover, it is not known where the seats of holy beings and those who abide in inner yoga are. The complete Buddha said that other than the perfect Buddha, other beings cannot fully understand another being. If one speaks carelessly and slanders, one sweeps away one's own merits with a broom. Examining the faults of others leads to one's own destruction, which is the nature of Dharma, so it seems very important to focus on observing one's own faults. Now, it is obvious that those who lack faith in the Lama and do not have pure perception of Dharma practice encounter many undesirable things. They are also seen as enemies by others, experience inappropriate deaths and inauspicious signs of death, and become objects of universal slander. On the other hand, those who revere the Lama and have great pure perception of others naturally gain happiness, joy, and fame, and are praised, respected, and valued by all. Auspicious deaths and good signs are seen and heard with our own eyes and ears. The Kagyu forefathers said: If you see the Lama as a Buddha, you will receive the blessings of the Buddha. If you see him as a Bodhisattva, you will receive the blessings of the Bodhisattva. If you see him as a Siddha, you will receive the blessings of the Siddha. If you see him as just an ordinary good spiritual friend, you will receive blessings corresponding to that. If there is no devotion, you will not receive any blessings at all. Know that the root Lama is not like another Buddha existing separately who is superior to him, but is the embodiment of all the Jewels of Refuge of the ten directions and three times. The qualities of the Jewels of Refuge are limitless, and all of these are manifestations of this root Lama. Moreover, now the holy beings who are benefiting beings in all directions, as well as the sun, moon, medicinal herbs, and even bridges, are all manifestations of the Lama. Even receiving empowerment, transmission, guidance, and learning to read and write should be regarded as manifestations of the body of the root Lama. In short, determining him to be a Buddha is the same. Buddhas, Yidams, Kagyu forefathers, etc., are very wondrous, but they do not show their faces directly, and their teachings are not heard directly. Even if you meet them, they will not do more than the Lama does. Although there are countless Buddhas in the past and countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Lamas, and Yidams in the ten directions now, even in dreams
